“A beautiful small hotel with outstanding views. Although it is up a steep hill, the hotel, although basic, is everything you need for a few days stay. The restaurant next door is very good, and used by touists and locals alike. If you are hiking, the hotel has lots of info on trails and is near the start of most main routes.”

“The flat is very nice. It has been modernised and the lounge and kitchen area are big and you can relax there as a family. It’s very close to the loft to take you to the ski area and there are nice views of the mountains. The owners are wonderful as they have great communication, are very helpful and very flexible ”

“For a first time ski weekend this hotel couldn’t be better! Located just by the ski lifts, secure ski lockers were provided. The room was very cosy and warm, clean, well equipped, warm soft light and hot showers. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. On last day we were able to store our belongings in the locker and take shower in a separate space for departing guests. I can highly recommend to anyone who comes with intention of skiing and being close to the heart of Sierra……

“Nice hotel the location is perfect for skiing trip to Sierra Nevada. The new owner did some nice upgrades. Rooms are nice and been refurbished but there is a lot of not from hall and other rooms so earplugs are needed for a good night sleep. There are lots of couch areas in the hotel where you can chill with the family and play cards etc. The menu card in the restaurant was only in Spanish and some other instructions in the spa are was also only available in Spanish. Breakfast buffet was nice……

“Went out of season, so very difficult to give a review of the resort as there was nothing going on. Good location - walkable to ski lifts. Though not ski in, ski out. Very clean. I was a bit worried about access - directions to get in weren't brilliantly clear - more communication prior to arrival would be beneficial. Very steep spiral staircase so not at all suitable for people with mobility issues or children. But absolutely brilliant for a group of youngsters. It was very windy and the……
