(we did not get into pool, not sure on temperature, but saw others enjoying it)Location, location. (10-15 mins from airport and other hot spots)Critiques:Host communication (Did answer all inquiries and make effort to resolve concerns but ! felt instructions for access to room were lacking critical detail and more information should've been provided for a smoother……

“We have stayed in at this property while we attended the Spanish school for few weeks. With my teenager son, having kitchen and laundry was important. Good Internet connection was a must for my remote work.The property managers were helpful. Helped me arranged the transportation from the airport to here on the first day”

“Access to the private dock, bonfire, and easily accessible by tuk tuk! We had to look for tuk tuks that did not have San Juan on the front to take us as they wanted to charge 20Q per person but we got them down to 15Q, in the end we just ended up telling one which exit it was and it worked out great! We had the best time and would definitely visit again!”

“We loved Casa Verapaz. The caretaker Alfonso was great and communication with Julio was excellent. The views from the living area are truly breathtaking and accommodations are wonderful. Santa Catarina Palopó is a short walk down the hill and is a great little village. Our boys played soccer with the locals there and we bought fresh tortillas for breakfast. The tuk tuk ride to Pana was easy and affordable. If you are noise sensitive, know that the structure is shared so some noise does drift in……

“The only bad thing about this apartment is there is no central air conditioning but the host provides a small fan. The view is nice and apartment is very cozy and in a decent location. There’s a lot of tourists traffic in the area”
