“We loved our stay here, the cottage was spotless and the furnishings were lovely. Log fire was a bonus. We walked directly from thr cottage onto the cliff path to walk to Robin Hoods Bay and were amazed to see an incredible pod of dolphins swimming past, which made our week! Great location just a few minutes from the Abbey. Would highly recommend. ”

Could do with a shelf in the shower as it is quite tight when needing to bend for shampoo etc. initially a cigarette smell to the property so not sure if previous tenants smoked inside. “Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space.”
