Oceanfront Gulf view - 2 bed/2 bath condo: pools, balcony, tons of amenities!

Come experience breathtaking panoramic views from this meticulously updated 2-bedroom/2-bath condo on the fourth floor of Plantation Palms Resort in Fort Morgan/Gulf Shores, Alabama. The spacious balcony offers a perfect vantage point to savor the direct gulf-front views. This unit has undergone a complete transformation with granite countertops in the fully appointed kitchen, and a host of new features including tile and plank flooring throughout, appliances, furniture, paint, WIFI and in-unit laundry. Enjoy peace of mind with onsite property management and 24-hour gated security. Indulge in the wealth of amenities designed for pure relaxation and comfort.

Unit features: 4th floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 8'x23' balcony. Master bedroom has a king size bed. Guest room has two twin beds. Living Room has a full size sleeper sofa. Dining room table seats 4 + 3 stools for counter seating. Balcony has 6 outdoor chairs, coffee table and high top table.

Appliances: 3 TV's, washer/dryer, conventional oven with smooth top electric range, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, Keurig Coffee maker & grinder, toaster, blender, crockpot and mixer.

Please see the resort map in the photo section, which outlines the 3 properties that make up Gulf Shores Plantation Resort, all just steps from the beach with easy on-site parking for up to 2 vehicles. . As a guest, you will have access to all property amenities: 8 pools, kiddie pools, hot tubs, BBQ and picnic table areas, tennis, pickle ball & basketball courts, shuffle board, horseshoe pits, putting green, fitness facility with sauna, Sassy Bass restaurant & bar, and Shelah's Coffee & Ice Cream Shop, and on site self-serve ice service to fill coolers. Water activities and beach service are also available - located at teh end of the Resort's boardwalk.

***Please note: Parking fees of $35 per car per stay are not included in rental rates and are collected at time of arrival by our 24x7 security.***

Handicap accessible property with smooth surfaces to thoroughly enjoy the entire property: elevators, ample concrete walkways and patios, wood boardwalk to beach with no steps.

Take advantage of the proximity to Kiva Dunes golf course, conveniently located next door, as well as many area attractions: historic Fort Morgan landmark, Mobile Bay, USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, fishing & dolphin watching charters, USA Water Amusement Park, and plenty of local restaurants, shopping and conveniences just minutes away. A short drive to the heart of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.

Pensacola or Mobile Airports are recommended for tenants flying in.

Lovely location

Loved our stay! Not too long of a walk to the beach, with a maintained boardwalk. Pool and hot tub were also easy access and well maintained. The condo had a great view of the gulf. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Excellent two bed condo!

The condo was clean.Very nice decor. We loved the well stocked kitchen. They had everything we needed.We are seniors so we enjoyed the balcony. Starr the owner was so nice and kept in touch with us.We had beautiful weather for the 10 days we were there. I would rent again from them.

Amazing Accomodations

Property just as described. Furnished with quality furniture that made for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked and there's even sand toys for those traveling with kids. The property manager was fabulous and kept in constant communication before, during, and after stay.

Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and well maintained condo with amazing views of the Gulf. Linens were in abundance and all furniture and beds were very comfortable. Our hostess thoughtfully communicated with us before, during and after our stay. We look forward to returning to this unit.

Excellent!

Property was very clean and comfortable, and for the price of the rental, was a fantastic value! For less than a 2 bed hotel room, we stayed in a well furnished condo with 3 beds (4 if you use the pull out couch), 2 bedroom, 2 bath with kitchen, etc. It was very clean and comfortable, right on the beach, nice pools and amenities, etc. I will point out a few negatives if I'm nitpicking: $35 parking seems ridiculous, but it is what it is. Both hot tubs were closed (not sure why) Almost nothing in pantry - would have been nice to have a little bit of sugar (for example) and more spices, cooking oil of some kind, etc. Most other VRBO's I have stayed in were stocked much better and had at least a couple Keurig cups for the Keurig machine or a start on coffee, and we were happy to contribute and leave unused additions behind for future guests. I will agree with other reviews, the balcony furniture is not comfortable. We would have loved sitting on the balcony much more in the mornings and evenings if the furniture was a little more comfortable. That said, TV's everywhere, nice, functional kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher, comfortable furniture inside. Loved the quiet location but still within 20-30 minutes of the more busy and "touristy" Gulf Shores and Orange Beach attractions and restaurants. I would LOVE to stay at this property again when we have more time and better weather to enjoy the beach! THANK YOU!

We had an excellent vacation! This is our second time in this condo and we love the view and cleanliness of this unit. I would highly recommend this condo and the owner was very responsive when we needed her. The beds were very comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed. This was not my first rodeo in the GS area, nor at Plantation Palms. The location makes it a bit of a drive for a quick trip out, at least if you want a lot of eating options. There are places nearby (including in the resort itself). Same goes for groceries, though there is now a Dollar General within a few minutes drive. Keep in mind that this a large complex, so there can be a lot of people on the beach, but if you are willing to walk a quarter to a half mile, you can usually get away from the majority of people. Also, the Plantation sits several hundred yards of the beach, so it is a bit of walk to get your toes in the sand. The condo itself was well-appointed. Having two recliners facing the sliding glass doors (and the Gulf), was really nice. The kitchen is small, but that's expected. The living room is quite spacious, with plenty of seating for 6. The bathrooms are a bit tight, but both have shower hoses, which is a huge plus when at the beach. Only 3 "complaints". The master BR mattress/bed was a bit soft, but not near the worst I have slept on. The builder placed the master BR ceiling fan/light switch behind the BR door when it is open. really weird placement, but that's not the owner's fault. The balcony furniture is all wicker, and very uncomfortable for long periods of time. The owner, Starr, was great to work with and highly responsive. Best compliment I can give is that I would happily stay here again.
