We stayed at this unit during the time a festival was going on. Because of this the prices per room were very high. Upon entering the room, the beds were made however the rest of the unit hadn’t been cleaned. The toilet was dirty, sink was full of toothpaste as well as the tap. The handsoap was empty. There was zero water pressure therefore unable to wash hair for 4 days. Also every night these little red bugs that looked like larvae that would invade the shower and if one fell on you there was not enough water pressure to wash it off

Asked for days to clean our room and sweep the floor, they would not. Our door would not shut and they would not let us have a different room or fix that. The WiFi did not work at all the whole trip, the bed was dirty, & the entire staff was horribly rude.

They canceled my room because they calling me I’m driving can’t pick up phones- at 2:27 pm we check in they say my reservation was canceled- they tell me go Microtel inn book a room- $205 for a room - I can’t paid that price- is so bad - I try to contact you this morning- thanks you for your contact first

Let’s start with the mattress which was literally concaved and noticeably. The hotel staff was a toss up. If you could get the girl off her phone she was pretty nice. There wasn’t any breakfast and we had to ask for coffee in the morning and that totally put one staffer out. It was almost 7. Come on! The back side of the hotel was total sketch and there were cops there every night. This is the last thing I will say: I spilled something on the floor and had to grab to hand towel to wipe it up. The fluid was clear. The rag turned black. They hadn’t mopped the floor. Totally disgusted. Do not stay here. Stay up in Foley or down by the beach. It may be a little cheaper but not worth it.

STAY AWAY! Our room (121) was filthy…dirty bed spread with pet paws stains on it, dirty pillow case, dirty bath mat, dirty lampshades, filthy stained chair, half painted and broken bathroom door, unswept and very dirty floors…and the smell… Unfriendly staff I couldn’t wait to get out of there…

Arrived and checked in with no problem. Went to eat and when returned to get cleaned up before bed realized there was no HOT WATER, and outside temp was in lower 30's. Went to front desk and was told they were replacing hot water heater and no rooms had hot water, and would be replaced by next day. They should have informed us before checking in. Next day hot water in morning, but evening was just luke warm water and was told boilers were not large enough to serve all rooms. Never appoligized for lack of hot water and would not credit any of the night stays. I've stayed here the last 3 years while visiting Gulf Shores and no problems until this year. Upon check out was told could not print off receipt until I basically got irate with them then said oh here is tab to print your receipt. Can NOT recommend this motel any longer, will stay elsewhere next year.

Front desk ate an apple while I was checking in. She was also on a personal cell phone call during my arrival and was speaking and laughing to them in another language while I stood there. Returned the next day for fresh towels and she made me go back up to room to get my dirty ones first, then follow her to laundry and dump them myself. Unbelievable
