“We were on an extended family trip to visit ancestral places in Northern Ireland. Initially, I wasn’t sure how the ‘self-catering’ would be. This lovely home has an excellently appointed kitchen. Being located in this lovely country neighborhood just outside Cookstown ended up being the perfect central location for everything we needed! We did a day trip drive up to the Antrim coast for Dunluce Castle and Giants Causeway. Josie is a superb host! Payment instructions were clear and communication……

“It is exactly what it says it is being on a dairy farm but I didnt realize we would be sleeping 20 feet away from the barn that has cows so there was quite an aroma and the cows were noisy. We found several spiders along with a giant slug on the wall the last night so we were looking forward to get out of there. We stayed here since it was the cheapest and most northern place to the rail line going up to the Open but would have booked elsewhere ”

The location is rural but not too far from all the locations for tourism and views of the coast. Portrush and the Great Causeway are 20-30 minutes away. We highly recommend it.
