“Property is good to roam around but a BIG NOO if any one wants to stay there. They leave guests on their own during the night. There was a continuous stomping sound at the roof of my room so I started calling them around 10.30 BUT no one answered the calls. I kept calling them and finally the call was answered at 9.30am. moreover, they do have DAWAKHANA(medicine store) and FIRST AID sites to show but DO NOT have basic medicines like PARACETAMOL. “About as close as you can get to the Golden Temple without being in it. Clean, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, efficient laundry service, nice friendly staff. The food options are a bit limited, but the food came quickly and was fine. ”

“Such a unique property filled with history . The staff are amazing , especially sardarji who help Man the gate - he was every helpful and mad sure that I got too and from the golden temple safely in the early hours of the morning . Nothing is too much for the personnel at the hotel ”

“Comfortable air conditioned clean. Very courteous and helpful staff. Standard western amenities. Highly recommend it. The only caveat is location. While it is only 3 minutes away from Darbar Sahib (with entry right next to Akal Takht Sahib!), it is very difficult to get your car there, because the streets are too congested. They do have parking but it took extra long to get in and out. So park outside and take an auto to the place. ”
