“We could not have asked for a better place, very comfortable, spacious, a very welcoming host (even invited us to dinner at his son’s restaurant), but the best part was an amazing property. If you love old farm houses this as good as it gets!We did the Driftless 100 in Elkader and stayed 2 nights maximizing everything from the modern kitchen to the comfy living room & beds to a perfectly placed fire pit to watch the sunset and sip bourbon after the race. ”

“3 middle-aged ladies met in Dubuque for a Galentine's Weekend (Feb 14-16). We arrived just before the snow really started coming done. Annie's on Adair was the perfect cozy spot to hang out. We cooked, we watched movies, and we played games. The cottage was immaculate and we lacked for nothing. It's the perfect get-away for small groups. (The host was diligent in keeping the sidewalk cleared of snow... Which was much appreciated!) We thoroughly enjoyed our time.”

“It was easy to find. We thought it needed a bit more attention to the cleaning details. It had a very interesting basement set up with the bathroom not being private but it worked fine for us. Overall it was fine for what we needed. ”

“The location is great and the apartment itself is nicely decorated and homey but we noticed a few minor things that were not cleaned the best. A few hairs in bedsheets, rock in bedsheets, crumbs by kitchen trash can. It was an overall pleasant stay. We only stayed one night as we were passing ththrough.”
