“Great location for us. It is just on the outskirts of the center which was good for us. If you want to be in the heart of it all then this is not the best spot for you. We loved the deck in the evening having a coffee or beer watching the boats go buy.The steps up and down could be tricky for old or young folks.Would certainly stay here again.”

“Ein Stern ist selbst zu viel!!! Achtung - Betrug!!! Das Boot was angeboten wird gibt es zwar aber wird ausschließlich bei booking angeboten. Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. Wir hatten einen Tag vorher gelesen das es an dem Standort nicht existiert und am Anreisetag sofort Expedia kontaktiert. Die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt, nur……

I think of all the places I’ve rented over the years all over the world, this is in my top 3. The owner Margriet is very friendly and helpful. “Es war ein stürmischer Aufenthalt über den Jahreswechsel und den einzigen Kampf, den wir zu kämpfen hatten, war der mit der Klimaanlage, die uns den Aufenthalt angenehmer machen sollte - lag aber bestimmt an uns. Die Böllerei anderer „Festland“-Gäste auf dem Steg - dem einzigen Weg vom Hausboot weg - war nicht gut, denn im schlimmsten Fall hätten wir nicht weggekonnt. Ein Hausboot zu mieten, war trotzdem eine gute Idee, gerne wieder!”

“Casper is a helpful host/owner. He had a great list of recommendations and showed us around the property when we arrived. The studio was nice and a great location to the train station. With a Vrbo, I expect to rent the whole place, just be aware that you’ll have a neighbor that you share a front door with and that the owner has an adjoining door they stays locked. Leider konnten wir die Sauna nicht benutzen, da die Tür kaputt war und damit nicht richtig geschlossen werden konnte. Für das Geld erwarte ich, dass alles ganz ist. Ansonsten war alles unkompliziert. “This is a lovely houseboat at the end of a jetty. It is easily accessed on the 800 bus from the Central Station in Amsterdam, getting off just before the cheese and clog shop. We had a fabulous time, the surrounding area is beautiful. Would highly recommend”

“Die Aqua Cabin ist für fünf Personen ein wenig klein, aber sehr sinnvoll und durchdacht eingerichtet. Die Lage am Hafen ist schön, leider war dort wenig los. Die Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und unkompliziert, das Restaurant auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Auch in der näheren Umgebung gibt es ein paar nette Restaurants, Tankstelle und Supermarkt, so dass man sich gut versorgen kann. Das beste an der Aqua Cabin ist aber die Lage. Quasi alle Top Spots in Zentral-Niederlande sind in 30 Minuten……

We had two medium luggages and made it okay. Only added this note in case that would be challenging for anyone.
