“The house and property are well kept and clean. It has a nice pier that extends out into Calcasieu Lake. The pier has electricity, running water, and lights that can be turned on to fish at night. Both the kids and adults enjoyed a relaxing weekend on Calcasieu Lake and near by areas. ”

“This place is a hudden gem! It was quiet and peaceful. Wonderful ocean view and far enough away from everything to really unwind. Wifi is a little shotty, but we needed the disconnect from phones. Dolphins are everywhere out here! Will definitely go back!”

“They could not find my reservation at the front desk. Finally they said they have my reservation but the cabin I reserved was not available. I had to settle for a smaller cabin but still paid the same price. They over booked the cabins but somehow that was my fault and I got a lesser cabin.”

“My family of 9 celebrated my daughter’s high school graduation with a weekend crab trip in Hackberry. We are so please with this property and the host. The home was set up so nicely to accommodate our group and had all the comforts of home. The house was beautifully decorated and every detail planned so well to make it easy to fish, boat, and cook the catch. The host was very thoughtful and responded quickly ti any questions I had. Tonia provided detailed information regarding the house……
