We could not have picked a better cottage for our stay, its centrally place for shops beach restaurants the lot, yet its so peaceful and quiet. And the owner cares that you have a good stay, Just perfect.”

“Easy to get to the beach as well as the shops/harbour so great location. Host communicated well and everything we needed was provided. Could do with a shelf in the shower as it is quite tight when needing to bend for shampoo etc. initially a cigarette smell to the property so not sure if previous tenants smoked inside. Thank you for a nice stay”

“We had a great short break to visit the area and the goth weekend. The cottage was perfect for our needs and Pauline and Bob were very helpful. The kids loved feeding the alpacas! Easy walk to the park and ride to get a bus into Whitby, and a 5 minute drive to beautiful Sandsend to enjoy the beach. We hope to be back!”

“We loved our stay here, the cottage was spotless and the furnishings were lovely. Log fire was a bonus. We walked directly from thr cottage onto the cliff path to walk to Robin Hoods Bay and were amazed to see an incredible pod of dolphins swimming past, which made our week! Great location just a few minutes from the Abbey. Would highly recommend. ”

“Loved the hot tub and private garden as we had 2 dogs. The walk in the forest was lovely and convenient as on our doorstep. If we were being picky, the road leading to the property was at times quite bumpy, so caution with speed is required, but what the property itself has to offer made up for it. It is a home away from home and a good place to getaway from the hustle of life.”
