“This place was wonderful. Adorable cabin on a quiet road. The location being on the edge of the national forest is very handy if you enjoy hiking. They have everything you need to cook a little meal. We will definitely stay again in the future. ”

“I rarely do reviews, and when I do so it's because of either the absurdity or superiority of the experience. This experience was 100% the latter. This was our 1st time trying out a rental/airbnb type of stay. So, obviously we hoped for the best but mentally prepared ourselves for the mediocre. Mediocre this was NOT! IT WAS FABULOUS IN EVERY WAY. We're from the country so coming in contact with nature is nothing new for us. Nor is a county-cared for gravel road and all that entails. It was so……

“The cabin and view were absolutely amazing! Beautifully designed, thoughtfully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We spent the day exploring Cane Creek and Dismals Canyon, then enjoyed a relaxing evening at the cabin. Grilled out with ease—there’s a grocery store just 3 miles away. Jennifer, the owner, was great with communication and made everything seamless. Peaceful, cozy, and everything we hoped for. We’d go back in a heartbeat!”

“The cabin was amazing; very clean with everything we needed for our brief stay. A great re-model by the owners. Close to the Sipsey Wilderness/Bankhead National Forest where we enjoyed hiking. We fished off the dock at the cabin and enjoyed the beautiful view of Smith Lake, one of our favorite places to be. Near Chef Troy's Talk of the Town restaurant, very good food and service. Just a suggestion for the owners-you may want to mention the driveway being very steep and rutted. We were in a 4x4……
