“The room we have doesn't represent the outer look. The room we were in was refurbished, looked, slept, and smelled nice. We had a nice stay, thank you.”

“Lovely older building with a new modern look and amenities. Our room was beautiful with serene views amidst the winter landscape. The lobby/lounge was warm and welcoming. We booked a hydrotherapy session and thoroughly enjoyed the use of the sauna and steam room. The food was amazing at the restaurant and the service was on point. The resort itself is quite remote, but during an unexpected winter storm it was the perfect retreat. ”

There are two negative aspects: 1. proximity to the road so that it was noisy at times; 2. cleanliness was generally good though we collected a lot of sand when we swept the floors and the toilet seat had not been throughly cleaned.”

“We enjoyed a short family vacation on lake Haliburton. The cottage was clean with well stocked kitchen for 4 people. We enjoyed time on the large dock with beautiful views of the lake. The property is being updated. Brett welcomed us on arrival and check in instructions were communicated by cell phone. and other cottages are being updated.”
