“The room wasn’t 100% clean. There wasn’t a latch to lock the door so I had to put the table in front of the door for extra protection. The towels are all stained (I brought my own so I didn’t use them) there was dirt build up in the corners of the room. Housekeeping came pounding on the door at 9 when checkout is at 11 so that was kind of frustrating. The staff member that checked me in was nice the one i checked out with was on the rude side. But you get what you pay for. Also, there’s a pool……

“We chose it cuz decided to go to SC at the last minute and there weren't so much choices for us. Generally, staffs there were okay but it wasn't worth the price for a motel at such condition. Pro: Good location, you could get there easily when going down from the highway. Con: The walls were pretty thin so we could hear people next door talking clearly when it's loud enough.”

“I stayed at the Motel 6 with my husband and two dogs, for two nights, for leisure. I had a good experience right from the beginning, the front desk was amazing and made us feel at home right away. “I booked tru Expedia for two nights because the pictures posted online seems okay but when you get to the area. The outside premises is dirty, trashy and needs repair and gives you a feeling of uneasiness and unsafe place to stay. No refund policy but since I paid almost $10 for the insurance on that booking my credit card wasn’t charge $183 for the two nights that I didn’t use. ”

“The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy.……

“ The GM & owner are very nice. Our room was missing some of the needed kitchen items but they were very quick to replace the things that were not there. We were a bit disappointed when our room was not cleaned the one time they said they would clean it during our week stay. They should at least sweep/vacuum the floors, empty garbage twice during a week stay and replenish toilet paper. All in all, we do recommend staying here. It is a newer place and felt safe staying here.”

“This house has absolutely everything you could need for a short getaway to fun folly beach. It's well equipped with top appliances. It was impeccably clean and the furniture was cozy and comfortable. Sitting outside in the shade of the beautiful trees was a dream. And the best part of this house was the location. We are a young couple, and took a couple days to refresh away from the kids and really treasured being able to walk to every bar and restaurant to soak in the vibe of Folly. At night……
