Highly recommended accommodation in Hanoi. The friendly, warm and helpful staff could remember guest's name and needs, especially Lily (I bought a gift for her because very grateful to her). Excellent in every aspect. Staff are welcoming and friendly, especially Eddy. Decor is updated and room is clean and spacious. We stayed on 7/F so we couldn't hear any noise from the outside when the balcony door is closed. The rooftop bar is stunning. Wide choice for breakfast as well. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff was wonderful, location was perfect. The only inconvenience was the room. The room had a fishy smell, I’m not sure if the previous guests brought seafood to the room, but we couldn’t get behind the smell, it was even difficult to sleep. Hotel staff did provide a freshener to help with the smell and it helped a little.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. It's centrally located and very walkable. My room was beautifully appointed and spacious. The rooftop bar was amazing and the breakfast was exceptional. The team went out of their way to help make my stay more enjoyable, including packing a breakfast for me to accommodate an early flight. The airport transfer driver also stopped at train street and helped me get an iconic photo on my way out of the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Truly exceptional service from the staff. This isn't the Ritz, but everyone on the team serves from the heart, with a smile on their faces and a keeness to help visitors explore Hanoi. Very impressed by how a small hotel like this shines. They even remembered it was my son's 7th birthday and surprised him with a dessert and well wishes! He was absolutely delighted! The rooms may not be brand new, but they are clean and well-mantained. The restaurants surpassed our expectations, and there is effort to ensure breakfast service is filled with local gems and new treasures to discover every morning.

We had a wonderful stay at the Solaria and it was a the perfect refuge after a long day of travel and the hustle and bustle of the city. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond during every part of our stay. They help us arrange a private taxi to Sa Pa and thoughtfully packed us to-go bags with waters and snacks for our travels from Ha Noi and even remembered that I was a vegetarian. Cannot recommend strongly enough!

The family room was beautiful and worked really well for our family. I loved the unique decor! Despite being on the 2nd floor in a busy part of the city, it was fairly soundproof. The real standout was the fantastic staff who really went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable, safe, and interesting as possible. They were very helpful in many ways, including getting us tickets to a water puppet show. Massages at the spa were great and my kids LOVED the breakfast buffet. Great location for exploring Hanoi old town.

We enjoyed our stay at The Solaria Hotel, everything was excellent. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The front desk staff were excellent, check in was quick. They gave us lots of information about the area which was helpful. Check out was quick and the staff were excellent with helping us get a grab ride to the airport. We thought Solaria was a great base for our visit to Hanoi and Vietnam's north (with side trips to Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh & Sa Pa). Well located near the lake, and just on the outskirts of the (crazy, bustling) old quarter -a couple of minutes walk away The staff could not do enough for us - super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great with plenty of western and local options. The rooms are medium sized, but very comfortable.
