“I reserved the house because my daughter was getting married in Hanover with a reception in Gettysburg. Great location between the two towns. Beautiful and historic. We took the "mother helps the bride prepare" pictures there. As a sweet added perk, the piano is in tune!”

“Had a family wedding in nearby Hallam but didn’t want to stay at a hotel. Communication with owner was very easy. House is very accommodating for our purposes. Garage parking definitely helped ease our mind about car safety. ”

“Lovely historic home, beautifully appointed, well stocked with provisions and comfortable. We spent most of our time there on the wonderful front porch. Hot tub was icing on the cake. ”

“Property was relatively clean, small issues, light bulbs, trash. Nothing that disturbed the trip. Walking distance to major park. Furniture could use some updating. I enjoyed my time and was able to work remotely. Quiet neighborhood. ”

“The host was amazing and quickly addressed any issues we encountered. When we first arrived, there was something in the bottom of the oven that caused it to smoke when we turned it on. I sent a message, and they took care of it right away. While the house could use a bit more attention to detail, their responsiveness to messages more than made up for that! My daughter graduated, and we had several family members stay at the property for a bonfire celebration with her friends. The property itself……

“The place was nice. The owners were very nice and checked in often. The beds were comfortable and was very clean. It was a nice place to stay while visiting family. The only concern was it smelled like someone had smoked in the house before and had the stale cigarette smell.”

“The grass was super high. We could’ve even enjoy the outside patio/gazebo. My brother was out there a couple minutes and was bitten. The kitchen was not fully stocked with the right cooking utensils. The master bath shower was super slow to drain. We had to be careful and take super short showers to avoid it flooding out onto the floor. The central air only seemed to work on the first floor. We roasted each night in the bedrooms. It was very hard to sleep with it being so hot upstairs. The house……

“We found ourselves in wrightsville for my son’s wedding at Lauxmont Farms. Since we live 1 1/2 hours away we needed a place close to the venue for all the weekend activities. Rivers edge proved to be the perfect place. Only 2 miles from the venue made it super convenient. Being right on the river helped us have a beautiful relaxing weekend. The property is spectacular. The owners were very quick to answer all questions. They also were able to provide us with a great recommendation……

“I can't say enough good things about this warm and inviting home. 9 people came to bike on the Susquehanna River Trail and take in the sights in the area. it was a great place to come home to after a long day. The beds were comfortable, the hot water was strong and plentiful and the central air system worked perfectly. The hot tub was a godsend after biking all day. If you are an early riser be sure to enjoy your coffee on the front porch and take is a great sunrise. Plenty of seating in the……
