“Sarah’s place was a welcome haven to explore the Kaikōura area. The house was spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset over the mountains from the comfortable deck chairs. Sarah was friendly and welcoming and had great tips for local attractions. One of our favourite New Zealand stops. Highly recommended.”

“Wonderful stay at Cubby House in Kaikoura! Leanne and Richard have created an oasis complete with an amazing view and friendly-furry-4-legged greeters. We traveled in NZ for over 2 weeks and Cubby House was the only place we stayed that had this level of charm, the most amazing coffee machine ever, and a fridge full of wonderful breakfast ingredients. If the opportunity arises, we will certainly be back.”

“The cosy cottage at Kaikoura is a great place to stay. The location is near many great walks, the sea and the boat excursions. It’s in a quiet location and there is no light pollution , so the stars at night are amazing. Seeing the sunrise and moonrise at the Kaikoura lookout is a must. The location is not far from town, seal colony , esplanade and town eateries. The location has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s clean and very comfortable. It’s dog friendly and our pooch loved……

“We were amazed at the lovely grounds and spacious house. As we had a gathering of our adult children it was lovely to be able to spread out but gather under the large under cover outdoor area.
We played pingpong in the game room, hung out next to the river but mainly used the house as base camp to explore the region.
The garden is big and secure, so doggy could run free. The garden also supplied us with veges, lettuce cherry tomatoes, spring onions and more. (I wish my tomatoes grew that……
