“We had a wonderful three-night stay at this cozy cabin in Hillman. It was the perfect distance from the Cities—close enough for an easy drive, but far enough to feel like a true getaway. The cabin was well-appointed with everything we needed. We spent our time relaxing, grilling, and even caught a couple of fish right off the dock. One evening by the fire was a highlight.We also ventured into Brainerd one afternoon for a delicious lunch at Chick N Rice (highly recommend!) and had a great time……

“Cabin was wonderful. Host answered questions quickly. Weather did not cooperate so we enjoyed being able to hang out as a family and have enough room for everyone inside when needed. Covered deck in the back was awesome to sit and enjoy the view. ”

“Devastating fire 2 days before we arrived yet everyone did everything possible to accommodate us.”

“This was a very convenient lay out for our family's stay. The kids caught fish (mostly bass) off the dock, were able to swim, and they house was neat and orderly. We enjoyed our time in the front porch room, just watching the lake. Although we stayed in late July, the fans seemed efficient enough for us and not having A.C. wasn't an issue at all. Next time we hope to bring a boat to explore the restaurants on the lake! ”

“Just about Everything was perfect, the only thing that wasn’t was a lot of fast traffic, we ended up making up games about it so it was fine…”

“Eagle's Nest was an absolutely excellent stay! We were celebrating a bachelor party, and were a little bummed when the weather didn't pan out perfectly for some of our planned outdoor activities in Brainerd. However, the home itself was nice enough to keep us well entertained for the weekend! Between the sauna, the hot tub, the indoor pool, the ping pong table, cornhole, the Side by Side, and the canoes (which we could use when the weather was nice in brief periods), we had such a great time!……

“Free wood was a bonus, neighbors were awesome. Was hoping to rent a boat, but it was out for repair, pontoon was to costly for what was offered. No convince store to buy ice, or anything you may have forgotten.”

“Check in was easy. Lots of extra groceries that made it easier for us. We loved the fire pit and the canoe and boats. Game room was awesome also. ”
