The breakfast was fantastic!!! Dining room was wonderfully laid out with spacious seating for each suite. The egg, cheese, and tater tot casserole was the perfect portion coupled with the sausage links and English muffin. Fresh fruit cup, OJ, and coffee rounded out this dining experience.
The chef/innkeeper, Elizabeth, regaled us with some history of the property, the area, and Civil War as it impacted the region and the property. It truly added to the charm of this inn.
The room was large (the reason why was explained in the breakfast story!), the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was great. The remaining room appointments were matched to the period of the inn. I loved this inn and my suite!
