“The house was comfortable and clean. Location was as described, close to hiking trails and town. Questions to our host Jay were answered promptly. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Had a few day getaway with my best girlfriends. We had a minor issue because the code to enter did not work, but it was quickly resolved. This home is off the beaten path and private and quiet, but close enough (about 25 minutes drive) to go into Harpers Ferry for shopping and rafting/tubing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and wish we could’ve stayed an extra day or two. The home was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and a fire pit. We will definitely come back.! ”

“My husband and our friends arrived to Harper's Ferry early afternoon. We purchased our 3 day parking pass and walked around the town. The whole town and shops are dog friendly. We arrived to the house, easy and just minutes from downtown. Beautiful views. House is perfect. Central air was appreciated as it got nice and humid out. Instructions for everything was on the table. We checked that out. We like to eat at home instead of restaurants every meal. Everything we needed was there, we just……

“Owners were very responsive when we had to contact them regarding an issue with the home. They were extremely apologetic and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay. They have all the basics including propane for the grill, salt, pepper, spices, they even had shampoo and body wash! It was a perfect space to watch the sunset and be among friends. We had coffee on the porch both mornings. The driveway is very steep but is 100% worth it. There’s a little country store down the……

“Ethan and his family werevery gracious and answered all our questions. We were surprised to be on th side of a mountain but our four wheel drive was handy plus 15 minute drive into Harpers Ferry was nice so it was quiet and peaceful. Lots of deer to watch!! Easy to relax!! Our only suggestion would be a small dresser maybe under thevTV and few more hooks for clothing since there is no closet. The kichen, bath and sleeping area were good. We enjoyed our stay in the peace and quiet!! Thank you……

“It was a great stay. No complaints! Great communication with the hosts before and during our stay. Very clean and just like the photos. The only comments not entirely positive (but worth noting because it was one of my deciding factors in booking this property) is that the hot tub was not clean enough for us to be comfortable using (it is in the woods and may have been pollen coming through the screens—but it was covered) and I think one of the queen sized mattresses does need to be replaced in……
