“Our party of 8 enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and stocked to get you started. Conveniently located to town and the Botanical Gardens. Plenty of outside space for kids to run around and play. It has a beautiful view of the cove but is very rocky. This didn't stop us from hunting hermit crabs and catching fish. The house is old but that gives it the Maine charm. ”

“We had a fantastic stay at Bowhaven cabin! It was extremely clean—truly spotless—and clearly very well cared for. Kez and Kyle are wonderful hosts: super communicative, welcoming, and thoughtful from start to finish. You can tell they take great pride in the property. The setting is peaceful and cozy, and everything we needed was right there. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!”

A mini-fridge, coffeemaker and microwave oven do not make this a "Studio" in the sense that I understand that word (i.e., a one-room apartment with kitchen and bath). “We had a very nice stay in this apartment. I would definitely recommend it to others. The owners were friendly and it was easy to get into the unit. The only drawback for anyone who's not quite so agile is the steep staircase to get to the bedrooms. It worked out fine for our family of four, so I just list this for anyone with mobility issues.”

“GORGEOUS house and view! Very spacious and accommodating. Things you should know before booking is that it is about an hour away from anything and everything. House could use some more TV's if you're going with children, pinball machines did not work and neither did "workout equipment" which was an elliptical and treadmill. One of the showers did not work and some of the fans that were provided did not either. I think its a tad over priced for its distance to do things but the views from……

“We arrived for a short trip and picked the location for the walkability of the area. 25 minute walk to the Casco Bay Ferry Lines. This gave us a fun afternoon to travel to Peaks Island to explore. We got to eat dinner at The Olive a tasty Lebanese restaurant on the way back to our place. Close to walking paths with great views. Be ready to climb to the third story in this walk up space.
