“We highly enjoyed our stay at Blue Haven. It is the loveliest home we have spent time in at Broadkill Beach or the surrounding area so far. The rooms are clean and spacious and the hosts thought of everything we may have needed.The walk to the bay/beach was very short so we could spend lots of time out in the sun, enjoying the bay. The outdoor shower was very helpful for keeping the sand out. I hope to spend more time next summer!”

“This bayfront house was wonderful. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliance and essentials - even had a crockpot, plenty of spices. They supplied dish soap, toilet paper, towels and sheets which made things so convenient. This home was very clean. Loved that we were able to bring our dog and the beach was dog-friendly. The house did not smell of animals. I would highly recommend this house. They had an awesome outside shower with hot water. The fire pit area was very nice. The host……

“Broadkill Beach is a wonderful, quiet and charming residential beach community. This aIs a beautiful little house with a wraparound deck, dog friendly, with a few hundred feet walk through the dunes to the beach. The house is clean, easily cleanable floors and a basic but full kitchen, comfortable beds and easy access to the beach. There are beach chairs and a grill which we did not use ”

“This was a great place to stay while we were dropping our daughter off for her sr. year at DSU! The location was central to her house in Camden, the beaches in Rehoboth and nature/marsh/beaches of southern Delaware Bay. We really enjoyed getting ice cream and walking the riverwalk. The house itself was fantastic!! It is an old house so be aware of that. We actually appreciated the character and charm that the history added to the experience over a 'new' property. “My family came in for a wedding in Dover, so we thought it more convenient to rent a house for the weekend. The house is picturesque, comfortable and clean with lovely decor. A coffee bar and a bottle of wine were waiting for us! Such thoughtfulness. Rachel and Jim answered all questions promptly. Across the parking lot is an eatery with excellent seafood and a lively night life. Bowers Beach on the Delaware Bay is a short walk away. We had an enjoyable, relaxing weekend. ”
