Beautiful peaceful retreat

This house is gorgeous. It's a really lovely setting in the trees just above the lake. The house is really lovingly and uniquely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The house is nice and quiet and you can sleep with the windows open and get fresh air. All the amenities were present and easy to use - coffee maker and laundry facilities worked great. I would love to stay there again!

Woodsy guesthouse

Beautiful property surrounded trees above the water. Abundance of wildlife and no noise outside of the boats on the water. Really peaceful getaway.

Peaceful

We came here as a getaway after the passing of my husband. It was a wonderful setting for the children and I to just check out mentally and relax. Loved the location and the amenities. Highly recommend this property if you need a place to clear your mind.

Lovely, with one concern

Our stay was wonderful & we appreciated all the little touches you made for our comfort - but you overlook one BIG problem. There are 2 large Hindu god statues on either side of the bed; along with another one in the living room. These are often accompanied by demonic presence(s). Having experienced this before, I travel with Catholic Holy Sacramental objects and prayers; and was able to banish any demonic creatures from your house. Thereafter we had a peaceful stay. But our daughter refused to stay there. She has seen people become possessed by a demon (and need a Catholic priest for exorcism) - and so she is very nervous about such things. I assume you (like most people) are unaware of all this; and so I wanted to let you know. But I would still recommend you get rid of those statues. Demons return to where they are displayed & welcomed; and (speaking from experience) to be awakened by one in the middle of the night can be a terrifying experience. 54th Anniversary Trip

Absolutely loved everything about this property. It was such a pleasant stay in a perfect setting: enjoyable outdoors views and indoors windows were most loved by me. Thanks to the property owners and all who helped make this an ideal few days for Jim and me as we celebrated our 54th! We did not see the owners but I am sure they would have been delightful. They get an automatic rating of five stars.

Lovely Retreat

This property was easy to rent and when we had a couple of small issues they were addressed quickly. The location is stunning and fairly remote. Cell service was not available on property. The kitchen needs additional pans, dishes, glasses, and utensils. New chairs and a better set up for the television would make this location a 5 instead of a 4.

Beautiful quiet retreat

Beautiful views

Very nice views it was a clean house but it is definitely off the beaten path do not expect any grocery stores nearby, make sure to bring your food with you, the house is nice pool would've been better if it had a few more pots pans and a comfortable couch to sit on to watch the lake

Long weekend

The property was great and easy to find with the directions. The perfect place for a long weekend get away for the 2 of us. The only complaint would be that the kitchen could use a better selection of pots and pans and a lot of unexpected fees added to the base price.

Better than advertised, the guest house is beautiful! Do not let the fact that it is attached to the main house, privacy was not an issue, loved the location and the asian decor!!!..ten stars..lol

Very quiet and peaceful

The home was beautiful. The main problem we had the home heat had been turn so far down when we arrived to indoor temperature was 40 degrees. We were able to get the heat on, but took over 4 hours to get the home warm enough to take off our coats. If you are renting in the cooler months of the year be sure to ask if someone has turned up the heat. Plus there was a bad Ant issue. There was a lot of Ant trap placed around the home, but didn't seem to help much. One last issue for those who are vertically challenged like my wife who is five foot tall. The mirror in the bathroom is very small and is placed to high on the wall that she could not use it. There is only one other mirror in the home that I had to take off the wall for her it use, because this one was also placed to high for her to use as well. Other than these issues we had a good time.

Terrible

The only pan was not clean, with baked-on crud that hadn’t been scrubbed. The refrigerator made squeaking noises. There were ant traps out and so the owners knew the place was infested with ants. The only toilet was crawling with them. We took video and pictures and had to vacate the premises but they refused to give us a full refund. It also took a week and a half to get a response, with me constantly calling.

Great stay outside Harrison, ID

This is a great property in a secluded location with filtered views of the lake. The interior is beautifully decorated in an eastern theme and is very spacious and comfortable. The outside grounds were also very welcoming and private.

Beautiful house and location

This was a tastefully decorated guest house, adjoining the owners' house but very private. Private entrance, deck, etc. Quiet location, comfortable and relaxing. Overall it was fairly clean. I do wish there was a little more in the way of kitchen cookware. Also, I did write to ask a couple questions through the app but never got a response. I found my answers another way, so it really was not a big deal. Would definitely stay again. Beautiful three day weekend in a beautiful location!

little gem of a guest house

When we first pulled up to this property we were surprised to see it attached to another house and weren't sure if it would feel private, but we were happily surprised that it was just that. The inside is even more beautiful than the photos show. It's like being in a guest house in Bali, with beauty and color around you. We decided to cook our meals at the house rather than going out and loved sitting at the table on the outdoor deck under the trees, smelling the pine trees. The kitchen was well appointed and easy to cook in. We felt the peace and quiet of this beautiful place and enjoyed the view of the lake. We took a hike one of the days down to the lake where there is a walking path that goes along the water for miles. It is a romantic spot for a getaway and I would imagine that if you were a writer, this would be an ideal place to stay and be in your creative flow.
