"Communal areas in the hotel/pub were good & the pool was better than the photos looked but the rooms let it down. They’re tired, need a paint & new carpet. Shower needs a good clean as mouldy. Luckily we didn’t need to spend too much time in the room. Bed was small - barely a double & even my feet ..."

"The room and ensuite were spacious and well appointed. Bed was excellent and room was clean. Large wardrobe for hanging. Bring an older hotel the floor was very noisy to walk on and the stairs were narrow which may cause some concern."

"Great location, hidden away but very close to the town.Paul & Julia were very friendly & the studio was perfectly kitted out for a short break, bed was very comfortable & a lovely little outside seating area (Sue the cat was very friendly & loved a big fuss too)Highly recommend Matt & Julie"

"Bensly is a lovely little cottage very close to Sherborne town centre. It is clean and well-equipped for a short or long stay. It was nice to have an outside space, even a small one! Kirsty was very helpful over the checkout - which was hugely appreciated."
