“7 of us stayed at Casa Del Sol for a week over spring break. We opted to take the shuttle from Berlize City to Placencia - the driver, Edgar, was very helpful and informative. Check in was quick and easy. The location looks just like the pictures and the location worked well since you have access to the Placencia Beach Club next door. The beach club pool bar, just a short walk from the pool or lowerdeck made it easy to enjoy a drink or get food. Shane, host, arranged fishing, zip lining,……

“Property owner had a pipe bust at original property prior to our arrival. Rental manager called and emailed about upgrading and the recommended property was amazing. Host has someone meet you at property on arrival to walk you through, checks in you and Jessie made some wonderful recommendations. The house was amazing and we can’t recommend this host or place enough! Thank you Jack and Jessie!”

“The tour guides suggested by Tom were great. Snorkeling, Hiking, cave tubing, Mayan ruins - every experience was easily accesible from the home. Proximity to Palcencia was perfect- we took a golf cart into town each night for ice cream - a fun family excursion with teenagers. Truly a great home, great location, and a wonderful experience. “This property was perfect for our family of 11. It is right on the beach with beautiful sand, and an amazing pool overlooking the beach. It has a cabana to relax, just watching the water. They provide kayaks and life jackets, games, and fun! We had a wonderful vacation staying there! Thank you!!”

“Attended a friends wedding in the area. This is our second trip to the area and we couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. Close to shopping, beach bars and other fun places to visit. A/C units and ceiling fans in each room to keep you cool. Great view. Great pool. Great staff. All around 5 star stay!”

“This house has all you could want. - Renee is one of the most communicative hosts I’ve ever had. She’s so kind and responsive. And she knew everything about the area and was generous with her information.- the house is charming and well stocked! There are also just lovely extra touches that made it even better.- the location is excellent. Right on the Placencia sidewalk! The beach was right there! She has beach chairs and towels and water mattresses and tubes. Truly anything your heart could……

“The staff was great. Appreciate the housekeeper and the chef. Both did an excellent job. The kitchen cabinets were dirty looking and some of the cabinet doors were falling off the hinges. Took the top of the toilet tank off one of the bathroom because the toilet was continuously running and there was black mold. Overall the experience was great and my family had a great time.”

“I'm not sure we could have found a better location and place to stay than the Los Portocos Villa. Woke up every morning and sat out on the balcony watching the sun rise The La Dos Vita Restaurant was excellent! A must go to for supper/dinner. Rented Golf Carts for our transportation to the village. Great way to enjoy the scenery and culture in the area.”
