“Our stay at the barn for couples in Bude could not have been more delightful. It is in a quiet location but very close to the spectacular coastal sights and the coastal path in North Cornwall and North Devon. There are also several walking loops right from the residence around the nearby countryside. It is an excellent spot for birdwatching and relaxing. It is also within a 60-90 minute drive from Tintagel, Dartmoor National Park, and Exeter, in case you wish to venture further. But you……

“It is a large house with lots of different sleeping spaces/options. The kitchen table will seat everyone, games areas, two lounges ( one of which enjoys the sunset where we enjoyed pre dinner drinks), the views towards Widemouth Bay are amazing as is the sunset from the property. A fair price for the standard of the property. ”

“The location of this chalet is lovely and the camp is nice and quiet. The view from the balcony is nothing short of stunning. The Chalet is well equipped with pretty much everything you need and a nice starter pack with tea and coffee making supplies - the owner has gone above and beyond to ensure nothing is needed. The decor is a bit of a miss mash of styes - eclectic - but if you're not worried about the style then no problem. Unfortunately the chalet is damp. Very damp. To the point that……

“This is a delightful property and our host was extremely helpful and friendly. We took our grandsons (aged 7 and 11) and were able to show them quite a lot of Devon. A big success was the heated swimming pool which they loved as well as the trampoline etc. Everything was great in the cottage and everything we needed. If fast broadband is a must you might struggle as with many rural areas it isn’t fast. However we highly recommend this property.”

“We had an absolutely brilliant stay in the Chapel. It is much bigger than it looks with gorgeous high ceilings so it feels very spacious. With a two year old and a large dog, it never felt cramped or like we were on top of each other. And the bathroom is HUGE! We felt incredibly welcomed and will be back without a doubt. “A cosy property which met all our needs. Comfortable and clean throughout. The kitchen was well resourced and we made good use of the oven, microwave and washing machine. Parking was diagonally opposite to the bungalow, so useful with young children. The children loved watching the cows in the field behind. Altogether a lovely stay and with a car close to Bude and some lovely beaches.”
