“The good: Modern, nice, great location. Entry complicated so be patient with codes. Fenced parking. Bed firm. Mostly clean, plenty of towels, coffee, etc. The bad: booking experience worst ever. Paid via VRBO, but then told it was partial payment and figure it out. Card good, no reason this should happen. Contacted host via VRBO, they said not sure why, figure it out. VRBO has no way to do that, so I asked how to pay and host sent list of Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, but VRBO’s inbox blanks out.……

“Perfect location! In a beautiful downtown neighborhood just a short walk to everything: dining, beautiful views, beach access, a city park, and the resort which offers many adventurous things. Would definitely come back!!”

“We live here in Spirit Lake and were having drywall work done and we rented this VRBO for 12 days. It was nice to be only 5 miles from home as we had to go home to tend to our fur babies! We enjoyed the comfort of home we felt here. Only suggestions i would make is the loft sleeps 6 but there are only 3 dishes in the set. Since we were there 12 nights, i cooked most meals and the pots and pans supply was not great but i had the luxury of grabbing some things from home. Only other issue is if……

“The common areas are great. Good gym and coffee areas. Getting in is difficult when first arriving. The host had automated email communication, but never replied to specific questions while we were there. At first we couldn’t get into the facility as the gate code didn’t work. I reached out to the manager to find out the WiFi code and never heard back. The bed room has no ventilation. For the second night we had to buy a fan from Target which made a huge difference. Our son slept on the……
