“This property was very unique and a great place to stay, especially after visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set earlier in the day. The rooms did smell a little like “Middle Earth” when we arrived, but the fans were running and the owners were obviously trying to deal with the problem which was much appreciated. Opening the windows and leaving them open helped as well. It was spacious and well able to accomodate 5 adults. The water was lovely to shower in and great for drinking. The location was just……

“as it says cosy and comfy...beds were super comfortable. it was quiet and homely, took a little bit to work out the shower and couldnt get tv to go, however if they left instructions on both that would help. great pressure in the shower , fridge had lots of little extras in it which would be good if we cooked and a great supply of milk. it had everything we needed and loved the style and bits and pieces in there .eg the record player and games books etc. thanks very much very helpful and……

“Been to Kawhia a few times and stayed at the camp grounds. With parents wanting to join I wanted to find somewhere close and homey! Excellent central location, all the ammenities and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for escaping the busy city life. ”

“My husband and I stayed here so we could see the glow worms in Waitomo which was about a 25-30 min drive. This place is in a quiet little neighborhood and is represented accurately online. The private community waterhole was so beautiful and peaceful, and the house has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would certainly stay here again if in the area!”
