“The property was fantastically clean. The house is in decent condition and is as shown in the photos. As long as you are not expecting a modern house you will be very happy here. Was a short 5 to 8 minute walk into town and Close to other nice areas to walk. Communication from the host was excellent.”

“Beautiful location, grounds and cabin. So close to glow worm caves and have their own little glow worm grotto on the property. Only a 60 second walk from the cabins. Also close to a waterfall and black sand beach. Angus was such a gracious host who made sure we had everything we needed including toast jams and coffee. “This property was very unique and a great place to stay, especially after visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set earlier in the day. The rooms did smell a little like “Middle Earth” when we arrived, but the fans were running and the owners were obviously trying to deal with the problem which was much appreciated. “One thing to know is this Bach is that it’s about a 10 minute drive from Raglan. You must have a car to get around the area. That said we loved the location, so private. The view of ocean is amazing but beware there is no beach at this location. The unit was well equipped and we enjoyed the outdoor deck area and spa. Hope to be back soon!”
