The city has a good range of interesting shops and a variety of eating places. Boat trips to see dolphins, whales and seabirds on the offshore islands are an experience not to be missed.
The nearest sandy beach to Ty Gwennol is Abereiddy (6 minutes) while Whitesands (10 minutes) and the other beaches of St Brides Bay, popular for surfing, kayaking and coasteering lie to the south. The quiet country lanes of Pembrokeshire are perfect for walking and cycling as well as scenic drives to Tenby and Saundersfoot.
