“This house has the qualities of a classic Kiwi bach, with some well-conceived improvements. The view onto the water is stunning, and the extended deck plus generous windows and ranch sliders make allowed us to enjoy this on fine and wet days. The wood heater was stocked with plenty of firewood. The large new shower was great although our 90yr old mother needed a handhold. The split level floors were a challenge for her walker, and a handhold in the toilet would have been helpful. However the……

“A great place to stay for a couple... and, in our case, two small dogs. Everything you need, although no freezer or laundry facility. The fridge is a wine fridge but it's huge and was plenty big enough for our needs. Tons of room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed, wifi, large tv. Easy access to Havelock and Queen Charlotte Sound, Blenheim, Picton, and Rapara Beach (no good for swimming but awesome ruggedness), plus heaps of wineries to explore.”

The home was rxtremely clean and had a very well stocked kitchen (dishes, pots and pans, serving bowls, utensils) for preparing meals. We used the kayaks and loved it. Check in and check out wad a breeze. We would definitely stay here again! Fabulous and close to many great vineyards! Thank you hosts! ”

The house is located within easy driving distance of the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, superb Marlborough wineries and Blenheim City Centre shops & restaurants.”
