“George and Subhas home was perfect for our family to spend a weekend in southern Connecticut while in town for the weekend to visit friends. We have two young daughters (age 1 and age 6) and always try to find places to stay where they can have their own room. The rooms were very spacious and clean, with VERY comfortable king beds. Our babies pack and play actually fit perfectly in the closet which was great, since our girls go to bed at separate times. The big windows in the primary bedroom had……

“Wow! I wish we could have stayed here more than just one night! The host was so accommodating of our last-minute reservation and provided friendly and thoughtful assistance throughout our stay. This home is stunning! Careful planning and top-of-the-line finishes clearly went into every detail of this beautiful family home and we were so comfortable in every space. Larchmont train station is just steps away and made our travel to NYC a breeze. The home truly has a park-like feel and the house is……

“I really appreciated the hosts constant communication and quick responses. The property was perfect for hosting our party. Clean space and modern appliances. We really liked having the space within walking distance to the train station. One star removed due to the parking situation and the pillows/blankets were not very clean (yellow stains). Otherwise really great.”

“The sheets were way over bleached and burned my skin. The bed is way too soft and the sofa is uneven and sinks. The area is quite scary especially at night, and it is surrounded by vacant lots and construction zones. Most of the other stores in this building are closed, and homeless people walking around. The cleaning products use have a distinctively bad smell that even the air conditioning couldn’t eliminate, and the air conditioners are so loud you can’t hear the tv if they are running.”

“This room was listed accurately and has amazing aesthetics. The host was super communicative and attentive and did his best to help me navigate the sidewalk improvements that were being made on the day of my arrival. My one suggestion would be to provide a kureg or similar basic coffee set up in the room for guests. It was my first time to visit Yonkers and there wasn’t a lot of coffee shops there. Thanks for delivering a quality experience, I would stay here again.”

“I was fooled by the pictures. Upon check-in, they require to zelle cleaing fee. When I finally got inside, I found absolutely nothing lux about this property, no comfort and hospitality. The broken floor welcome me, all 4 beds are broken, only 2 TVs, moldy restroom, zero confort. They left 4 towels for 6 people for 6 nights. I had to request more towels. I had to scoop water fromthe shower to flush in the toilet because water would not drain. Half roll toilet paper was left. If you take……

“The photos of the unit were beautiful however the wear and tear on the actual property did not compare. The bathroom sink constantly leaked and because the floors were not even they stayed wet. The nightstands were broken the refrigerator would not open all the way. I also was not notified until the day of check in that the unit was on the 3rd floor and there was 2 flights of stairs just to get to the entrance to the unit.”

“We booked the property because our family is growing too large for all of the children and grandchildren to spend the holidays together. The “holiday house” as our 4 year old coined it was the perfect place to spend Christmas and Hanukkah. Large yet cozy and very well appointed. All of our communication with proprietors was prompt and helpful, and they had the driveway salted and plowed within hours of the (very picturesque) snowfall the day before Christmas. I would happily book here again. ”
