“Right when we walked in the cabin was neat and put together quite well. There were plenty of cooking supplies to get us along for the short weekend we were there. The Lodge was so nice. It was so clean and neat. The floors were heated when you took your boots off at the door, making for a warm place to freshen up with a nice warm shower. I went early in the morning and no one else was showering at the same time as me which made my mornings feel slow and peaceful. We all really enjoyed our stay……

“Wonderful mountain home and we were lucky to get fresh snow for the tubing hill about 20-30 minute drive away. Everything we needed was there. The views are postcard worthy. As others have mentioned, the driveway deserves careful attention with the presence of snow/ice. There are many supplies to help, but take good care and try to arrive in daylight. ”

“We love staying at Columbine! It's rustic, but has all the conveniences we need and the location is stellar. It's so secluded, but with lots of indoor and outdoor activities both at Columbine and at nearby lakes and other recreation areas.”

“We went to steamboat for a wedding and absolutely loved our stay in the Lost Ranger cabin. It was clean, cozy and only 30 minutes from town. Will definitely stay there next time we are around:)”

“Good communication with owners. Loved the fire pit and outdoor lighting and BBQ area. Cabin was a little chilly but a heater was provided in a bedroom. Beds were a little small but comfortable. Had a good time soaking up the fall colors and excellent location to USFS and fishing. Quiet neighbors.”

“This was a great cabin by the river. Very peaceful about 30 minutes from town. Disappointed that the tennis courts didn’t have nets but Other than that, great spot! Would be great for a reunion if you booked a few cabins.”

“Property is very nice and location was good. Check in and out was easy. Only suggestion, put a lock on the master bedroom door. Caused an issue, where the next morning at breakfast when mom and dad had to go explain some stuff about the birds and bees when our youngest walked in while we were “wrestling” according to the oldest, happened when youngest, late one night needed their night night cup refilled. I thought she locked it, she thought I did. Turned out neither did because they have……

“Perfect place to stay for a family of 4 plus 2 small dogs! Perfect size, great location, very peaceful! Unit was very cute and functional. We loved being able to walk down to the river right behind our unit and being out of town closer to Steamboat Lake was great for what we wanted to do during our visit. We greatly enjoyed our stay!”

“We stayed at Riverhouse on a trip to Steamboat. We were meeting a friend who had a small dog and needed a pet friendly rental. We were so pleased to find Riverhouse! It is an adorable cabin with a real fireplace, lots of comfortable seating and super well stocked kitchen. Thanks for a relaxing visit to Colorado.”

“This place is absolutely beautiful, with the elk river running right behind the cabin it was just a few steps to catch some beautiful rainbows! ”

“We visited in March and loved the price compared to other options closer to steamboat. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. It was like a 90s throwback but in the best way possible. Cabin was SO clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Appreciated that we could bring our furry family members too. Great spot with access to everything.”
