“This historic house is incredible! So charming, well-stocked, and very clean! There are lots of cozy areas to sit and get away and wonderful areas for gathering. Our family gathering of 13 loved it and will be returning!”

We loved the lovely view, the comfy beds, and the thoughtful welcome treats. Having the washer and dryer was a big help during our visit. The Kal-El license plate gave us a smile every time we saw it! We’ll definitely be back on future trips.”

“This place is just wonderful and very historic. Peaceful and interesting things around every corner! Sit in the hot tub or on the hammock and watch the hummingbirds and the deer. Anne is the kindest host we've ever had. Not only were fresh flowers were scattered throughout cabin, but she left a birthday cake and ice cream for my twins birthday ”

“Great location right on the lake with a lovely beach. Shallow enough for the little ones to wade in the water and feel safe. There are stairs for up and down to the beach but they have gates to close little one in on the decks. 3 different seating areas on the decks that made it nice for a little quite time. Very close to Silverwood Theme Park. There are only shower options in the 2 bathrooms no bath tubs. Ceiling fans in most locations and a window AC in the living room. The downstairs would……

“Absolutely beautiful property and a quirky but comfy lodge brimming with character. We didn't interact much with Susan or Mike but thats only because we didn't need to -- we had everything we needed and then some. Highly recommend!”
