The Riverside Motel is a quaint little hotel. Our room was a very nice size. It was clean and well decorated and looked out at the river. There were lots of places for guests to sit outside and enjoy the lake. It even had a little dock if you wanted to wet your line. A great breakfast/lunch restaurant is right across the street and downtown Hayward is just minutes away. We would highly recommend the Riverside Motel for your Hayward stay.

The room was very clean. There was both a small table and a sofa to sit on. The bathroom was small but one of the most awesome bathrooms I have ever been in for a motel. Very tastefully decorated and extremely good use of space. We would definitely stay there again.

Came for a business meeting and needed no frills, so picked the cheapest place I could find. When they handed me a brass key and not a magnetic card, I was a bit worried. Don't let the older style of this building fool you. This had the feel of a 1970s motel but was really clean and comfortable. The room had the 'Northern Woods' decor seen in a lot of places in Hayward, so it was cozy and woodsy. Pretty view of the river and super close to everything. Pleasantly surprised.

Great little get away spot!! Bring your fishing stuff even a little pier to fish at. Grabbed Coop's pizza for dinner and brought back to our room. Hayward Family Cafe for brwakfast across the street. Don't sleep on this place

Nice location. The room had a strong chemical smell that took a long time to clear out. The patio door was difcicult to open and the screen was ready to fall out. Cost was too high. There are better options in the area.
