“My girlfriends and I wanted to get a cabin for a couple of days for a book retreat, and this place did not disappoint! We took a walk around the neighborhood, both solo as well as in a group, and everyone felt very safe. We did end up bringing all of our own groceries, so I can’t comment on ease of finding food, but we had no problem preparing all of our meals, the hot tub was GREAT! A couple of girls took advantage of the fire pit that was also available, and had no issues. The sleeping……

“It was a quick weekend get away and the property was secluded and quiet. It had everything we needed, properly stocked, and a great location for a fall getaway. The property was clean and the check in and check out process was very simple. We would go back if we are in the area again. Thank You Kaleob !!!”

“My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary of when we meet with this rental of a cabin in the woods! It was very cozy and we enjoyed it so much. The beds were great. The porch was nice. The couch was terrible. I would suggest investing in a comfortable couch for guests who like to chill and watch tv! But we made it work and were glad to have this place to stay for the weekend. The owners communicated with us very well. ”

“Very peaceful location minutes from downtown and a short distance to family in the area. The stairs were a bit much for my mother in law, but we anticipated that going in due to mobility issues. She was glad she got to experience a very unique place. 5 stars!!”

“I stayed here while doing some antiquing nearby. It was nicely suited to my needs, which was basically just a place to crash at night and have coffee in the morning! The river nearby is really lovely and the sound of the waterfall is so nice. You will also hear some road noise, just FYI. It's a cozy space but fairly utilitarian. The bed is super comfy but if you like a full pillow, pack your own. Would likely stay again -- it's a solid value. ”

“The cabin was perfect for my family of four during our time visiting family for Christmas. It is exactly as advertised-clean and peaceful. It was even decorated for Christmas when we got there which was an unexpected bonus. We were greeted multiple mornings by the deer right off the porch and every day around sunset the birds would flock back to the trees. At night you can hear the river going by and the sky is as clear as I remember seeing it in years. The owners were very accommodating……
