“First getaway with our dog. Love this cabin in the woods. Had everything you could possibly need. Beautiful location in the woods. Chris responded to any questions immediately. Would love to come nack to do more hiking, etc. when weather is more cooperative!”

“It was snug for more than a couple of folks and gear but sufficed for a place to overnight. Parking was easy to get in and out with a trailer and location was convenient to town. Host was promptly responsive to inquiries. Nice setting on the lake.”

“Very relaxed stay at the lake house. The paddle boats and kayak were the biggest hit as well as feedibg bluegills. We were lucky enough to see a full moon while roasting marshmallows on the firepit to make s'mores. ”

“Host was very responsive. We had everything we needed. The only thing to remember to pack is beach towels! They do have bath towels, but they are really nice, and didn’t want to use them out on the water. Nice restaurants close by. Do yourself a favor and go to Silver Birch Supper club! Other local restaurants were delicious as well. We visited in July and were SO GRATEFUL for air conditioning! We had my parents and my husband and I, plus two teens. Lots of room for everyone. TVs in each room……

“I'm excited to leave the first review for this rental! My partner and our two year old son spent three nights here on our way up to the UP, and couldn't have enjoyed the property more. The cabin is incredibly clean, cozy, and quaint. We could tell a lot of thought was put into it by the owner. The deck being almost over the lake and providing a wonderful view and sitting area was my favorite part. We also enjoyed the firepit and the fact that you could be sitting at the fire and have a view of……

“We brought our 91 yo mom on a fall getaway. We all enjoyed watching the lake and treeline change throughout each day depending on the sunlight. We cooked all of our dinners in the kitchen which had everything we needed. We played board games at night on the big table. Two of us went kayaking which was fun & easy to launch from & return on the sandy beach. The location was convenient for daytrips to Phillips and Timms Hill. It was also awesome that our small dog could join us. We had a great stay……
