“The owners have a lovely property with three cabins. Lots of woods in a peaceful setting. Sitting on the front porch is relaxing with a view of the mountains. We even saw the Aurora Borealis. The cabin we rented was clean and had a full kitchen (no dishwasher) and 2 queen beds. The location is convenient to Denali without the traffic. Healy is a small town with a few good restaurants, a small grocery store, and gas stations. There are also Denali flightseeing companies in Healy. We would stay……

“Yes, it's a rustic cabin with a pit toilet, just as described. Cute, remote little cabin in the woods. The heater kept us warm, there was plenty of hot water and water pressure, and lots of space. Plenty of kitchen implements, dishes, silverware and glasses were provided. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the bedding arrangement, with a top sheet, and light and heavier blankets. Lights and insulation were provided in the pit toilet. One small thing: please replace the knobs on the……

“Loved the privacy and assess to Denali. The home was well stocked for anyone flying into the area. Beautiful views from the wrap around porch. The bedroom situation for 4 single adults was not ideal with one on the sofa sleeper for 2 nights. Not a problem for our short stay, but would have needed more space for a week. ”

We appreciated that we had a trundle bed so each kiddo had their own sleeping space. We appreciated the small kitchen cabin for access to a fridge and microwave. “Being at The Nest beginning the 3rd of September for a week was perfect. The landscape was ablaze with fall colors, and the tops of the mountains began to be covered in snow. Looking out the front window was like looking at a painting!! On our first night there we were greeted by a large cow moose wandering past the front deck. The cabin was warm, cozy, private, and had all that we needed to be comfortable. Denali National Park is just a short drive. You will not be disappointed if you choose to……
