“This stay was so wonderful - thanks to friendly and helpful staff who were very responsive to issues, and an amazing farm tour and activities. One disappointment is we were not able to bike as there were no kids' size bikes available. Also, consider supplying the AfriCamps tents with citronella candles to help keep mosquitos away when outside in the evenings.”

“Oubaai House is a fabulous holiday base, the photos do not capture the unique nature of this lovely home from home. The reverse level accommodation means that the living areas are flooded with light and there are the most fabulous views from the spacious the deck and pool area. The house is well equipped and finishes are high quality through out. “Cozy home with open floor plan and recently redone interior provided a relaxing and fresh atmosphere. Large backyard, new pool, and safe neighborhood were perfect for outdoor activities and family walks. Maria went above and beyond. Her added touches of fresh flowers, coffee & tea, milk, soaps & shampoos, laundry supplies and homemade rusks were so thoughtful! She provided excellent recommendations for restaurants (like Salinas) and activites (stunning beaches, hiking, canoeing & day trips……

“Well situated on high hilltop great view of lake . Property has gated entrance . Seems like a safe environment. No air con it was quite hot when we were there those accustomed to air con would not be comfortable . those that do not need tempature control would find it a safe clean well situated venue”

“Reservation confirmedfor 5 nights, almost 1 month later host manually updated booking to 3 nights due to system not properly updated and resulted in double bookings. Had to pay for additional 2 nights at higher rate after already having paid for 5 nights. Not planning to stay there ever againagain”

“We enjoyed a restful three-day stay at Loerie’s Rest Cabin. In particular, we enjoyed the view and outdoor deck living space. There is a nice, relatively short, walk nearby where we saw zebras and water buffalo as well as a refreshing down/up-hill walk to a rocky beach that is currently not swimmable.Getting to the cabin did prove to be a bit of a challenge as we had to call for instructions from our car (not always easy for an international traveller), drive through a security gate, then……

This is the busiest time of the year. Did you communicate my booking. Did she mess it up? Im extremely unsatisfied. We now sit in a little house far away from the sea, at an exorbitantly inflated rate.”
