Welcome to the Deer Valley Retreat at the Shores! The home has been designed and furnished to provide you with the ultimate Park City escape. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by views of the mountains and the Jordanelle Reservoir. It's a perfect location just 3 minutes away from the nation's top-rated ski resort, Deer Valley Resort, and their Jordanelle Express Gondola.

The open-concept floor plan is ideal for entertaining family and friends. The gourmet chef's kitchen is a culinary masterpiece, fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, a gas range, and a large island with seating for four. The kitchen is adjacent to the formal dining room, which can accommodate up to eight guests, making it perfect for hosting intimate dinners or holiday gatherings.

Next to the kitchen is the spacious living room, furnished with comfortable seating, a cozy fireplace, and HDTV. It's the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes, watch a movie, or play some games with your friends and family. The upper deck is located off the living room and is a wonderful spot to unwind with a glass of wine on a warm summer evening.

There are four spacious suites, each with its own en-suite bathroom and an additional half-bathroom on the main floor for convenient guest use. The two primary bedroom suites are furnished with king-sized beds and feature luxurious en-suite bathrooms with double vanities, walk-in showers, and soaking tubs. Both suites have their own private balcony, offering stunning views of the Jordanelle and the slopes of Deer Valley Resort.

The lounge level has a complete second kitchen, including a breakfast bar, full-sized refrigerator, oven, microwave, sink, and dishwasher. The family room offers comfortable seating, a fireplace, an HDTV. There is also a game table and a variety of board games, providing endless entertainment for guests of all ages.

From the lounge level, guests can access the lower deck and the private hot tub, where they can relax and unwind after a long day on the slopes.

Primary Suite – The primary suite is on the main floor and features a king-size bed with high-quality linens and bedding, HDTV with Roku Player and DVD player, a walk-in closet, a private balcony, and a private bathroom. The bathroom offers guests his and her vanity with granite countertops, a large walk-in rainfall shower, and a jetted bathtub.

Guest Suite – Upstairs, Equipped with a king-sized bed, HDTV with entertainment center, fireplace, and private en suite bathroom. The second en suite bathroom features a granite countertop with vanity, bronze finishes, custom wood cabinetry, a walk-in closet, and an oversized glass shower.

Guest Suite—Upstairs, this suite features a king-size bed, HDTV with an entertainment center, gas fireplace, and shared bathroom. The third bathroom features a granite countertop with vanity, custom wood cabinetry, a large jetted tub, and a large glass shower.

Heber City Ski Rental

Very disappointing stay!!! On paper this looks like a great rental. In reality it has a broken refrigerator and zero customer service from iTrips, the company managing the property. They knew the refrigerator was broken on 2/8, but still rented it to me on 2/27! I've been trying for two weeks to get someone to address my issues and they refuse to communicate! I will never rent anything associated with iTrips again! Very Disappointing!!!

Utah Stay

Pros: The home is truly a gem, exuding warmth and coziness. The high standard of cleanliness is a testament to your dedication- every area was spotless, and the hot tub was a fantastic addition! We were grateful for the extra towels in the basement for the hot tub and the spacious, clean garage for our vehicles. The fireplaces and four king-size beds were perfect for our group of four adult couples. The itrip bathroom package of toiletries was a pleasant surprise, and we greatly appreciated the good communication during our stay on the trip.Cons: The upstairs refrigerator was out of service; the tape on the refrigerator said that, as of 02/09/25, it was not working. We should have been informed before our stay and given the option to stay at another property, but we were not. While this might seem a minor inconvenience for some, it was an issue for the diabetic in our group, who had to go down three levels to access insulin multiple times a day. Additionally, this meant we had no ice for our beverages during the stay; we had to go out and purchase a bag and keep it downstairs. This made it extremely difficult to cook meals together, such as morning coffee (creamer and cream cheese, beverages, eggs, and insulin for diabetics). Not only did we have to keep running up and down stairs, but we continued to disturb the couple staying in the basement. - Only two rooms had washcloths, so we had to go out and purchase something for the two couples to wash our bodies.

Good location

We stayed here with 8 family members for a ski trip. The check in process was easy and the communication was good. Two of our members arrived first and unfortunately found a dead mouse within a few hours of arrival in the kitchen and also the main kitchen fridge was not working. They did compensate us for part of the trip because of the issues and were good at communicating this, but you can imagine, finding a dead mouse was not enjoyable.

Family Vacation. To Park City Are

Clean, nice big beds, and jetted bathtubs were a favorite. Great space for a grandparent, adult children with their families to stay. Would definitely stay again. We were disappointed the gas fireplaces weren’t working as the evenings did cool down and we did not get a response back on why they were turned off during our stay. So communication could have been better. Also it listed a bbq grill and there wasn’t one. We had planned to grill. Hot tub was nice and clean. We really enjoyed that as well. The grass could use some weed killer. Didn’t want the grandkids running around in the thistles in the grass. Overall a nice property though. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks

This particular house was NOT ready at all! All beds were unmade, towels and sheets were in the washer and dryer, then add a dead mouse....not good. We were able to change houses and then everything was much better!

Ski get away

This was our first time to Utah, we had an amazing time. The house was amazing and made our trip that much better. Just a short drive to Park City and Park City mountain. Very easy to Uber. House is beautiful and comfortable. Thank you for hosting us we will definitely be returning.

Great Property with Great Access!

We loved staying at this sizable home off the Mayflower exit in Heber/Park City. It is well stocked and comfortable with plenty of room for larger groups. It's location near the Deer Valley gondola is unmatched, being only about 2 minutes away. We loved the chef's kitchen, hot tub and multiple fireplaces. Hope to be back soon!

Park City Stay

Overall the stay at the property was OK with a few issues -not as clean as we would have expected. -When we arrive the trash cans in the garage were overflowing with food/drinks/trash and it made the whole garage and basement level smell. When we asked to have the trash picked up, the property managers insisted it had already been picked up, and it took us sending 2 different photos to get someone to come. When finally someone came to pick up the trash they only took the overflow, leaving the trash bins still full. -The property listing doesn't quite match the actual amenities. The listing says that there are bunk beds on the 3rd floor but those aren't there, only the ones in the basement. Additionally the pool table is not available for use as there are no pool cues. -The hot tub was not working when we arrived and we had to replace the filters ourselves while on the phone with the technician in hopes to clear up the murky / dirty water that was in the tub.

Just Okay

This was a tough review to write. Let me just say the property manager communication was amazing. They responded immediately to all my requests. The house had enough space for our group-12. Here are the concerns that I believe other travelers should be aware of. The listing for the home has a set of bunkbeds advertised in the upstairs bedroom. One of our families had 4 small children. What a surprise to see a king size bed in that room! I contacted management and they apologized. We found extra bedding and luckily we had a few air mattresses to throw on floors. Two of the bathrooms (main level and lower level) did not have working locks on the door, so that was interesting with small children who just open doors. The main level door was fixed (they moved a pin from upstairs to downstairs) but couldn't fix the lower level lock. Be aware of that if it hasn't been fixed as that is where the shower is (maybe bring signs to announce it is occupied). The hot tub electrical was broken and we were not informed of this. They sent someone to look at it and told us the electrical panel needs to be replaced. Not sure how quickly that will be done, but I'd ask about it before reserving this unit. Kitchen had most items we needed, but the silverware is lacking in a huge way. We had to hand wash silverware after every meal so we would have enough the next time we ate. The pool table is a piece of junk - felt is all rippled. The space felt cluttered as well. Won't stay again.

Ski week with family and friends!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this beautiful home! It was well equipped for all our needs!! We cooked several evening meals for our group after a long day of skiing! We had everything we needed to prepare our meals!!! Thank you for providing all the spices we needed!! It was awesome!! We also enjoyed spending time in the hot tub!! What fun!! This place was amazing. Loved spending sunset in the hot tub overlooking the snowy pasture and distant lake. Cozy, comfy and everything you want in a winter retreat. Minutes from park city and Heber City. Will definitely come again.

Fell short of what it could be

Beautiful place, beautiful location. There was some frustration as the first 1 1/2 days we were there as we had no AC. I had heard this from another review and so tried to contact owners before we even left and after we arrived , as we really needed the AC for medical conditions, no response. finally got prop man who first told us we were already on a list and it wouldn’t be getting fixed as the whole compressor needed changing out. Then told us the owners had their own people so he couldn’t help. Then told us he had tried to help but no ac companies would even return his calls so we actually weren’t already on a list. He did eventually try to find us another place in his rentals. Found one and said we could stay the first night free where we were and then move over or find another place altogether. The place he found was not conveniently located and didn’t fit our needs. We had to go get fans as it was about 90 degrees upstairs... always, even with windows open. The 2nd night an ac repair person came , took 15 min and repaired the ac. So we felt a bit like false excuses were being made. We also had issues with putting 20 hamburgers on the grill and it running out of propane about 3 minutes into it. Propane is not close but we had to spend an additional $35.00 and an hour of time buying a tank of it. They only had about 8 plates and so we had no choice but to go to the store again and buy paper products. Then frustrated as only 3 small garbage sacks. Had to run to the store again. We have never seen a refund of the first night. So the place would have been fine but property management was not good. We do appreciate the efforts to get the ac repaired but still spent 1/3 of our time pretty miserable. Gave pretty high ratings because if a few details were taken care of it would have been lovely.

Issues with this property and management company

I have sent an email regarding my stay in this property but have yet to hear back. I had several issues staying here from a broken AC unit to a broken sharp sliding door handle to ridiculous parking policies. There’s also an angry old man that yells and threatens you if you park anywhere in the complex other than the driveway. There is zero parking here which is not accomidating if you have more than 3 vehicles which does not make sense for a place that is supposed to accommodate 12. The upstairs in this unit was a constant 82-87 degrees at all times. We visit every year and I will not choose this unit/complex to stay in ever again.

It was a great stay - cleaning service can be better

It is a beautiful and very comfortable house. We were party of 12 and felt very spacious. The bedrooms are good size. They went out of the way to fix the broken microwave in the kitchen. The only thing that can be improved is the cleaning service. It was one lady who could not clean such a large house in the given time.

We had two families stay comfortably. Beds were comfortable, and we loved having two washers and dryers. The only improvement I could suggest is cleaning the extra blankets/sleeping bags that are in the closet. They were unusable. Otherwise, great stay! Thank you!!
