“My husband and I visited for our anniversary. The cabin is lovely - beautifully renovated, thoughtfully outfitted, and situated in a lovely forested setting. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable bed that I have slept on away from home. The hot tub uses a saltwater system which is so much more pleasant than the usual chlorine/bromine systems found in most hot tubs...easier on the skin and respiratory system. We were very pleased with our experience and definitely plan to return to this……

“I really enjoyed staying at the Owl Getaway and didn't want to leave when my time was up. It was a perfect little place to get away: Secluded and quiet (except for being able to hear traffic on the road above - though it doesn't get a lot of traffic). The screened-in porch among the trees is great! The listing is literal when it says "shower only" for the bathroom: It not only means no tub, but that the sink is in the kitchen. I'll also say that I did drink the tap water, too, in case anyone is……

“We had a great time staying at this little cabin. It was very nice for our short anniversary trip. We arrived on a Monday evening and had a very easy time getting in. When you get there the first thing you notice is that this cabin is really, really in the woods. It was so nice and that was what I was looking for when I booked. The next thing you notice is that it is very nicely decorated. There were a few things we didn't take advantage of like the fire pit and the walk to the river, so I……

“This cabin in the woods near Coolfont in Berkeley Springs, WV was exceptionally clean, comforting, and welcoming. It was easy to find, easy to get to, and we really enjoyed our stay. Huge shout out to the host who was very responsive to all my questions. I would stay there again.”

“Cabin was lovely in a secluded spot. Close to Cacapon park hiking, horseback riding, and shotgun shooting. Also Morgan County Observatory was close. Of course Berkley Speings was nice too! Rounded out each day in the hot tub!”

“This property was really lovely. Not too far from town and its shops and restaurants, but very private at the cabin. My partner and I were looking to get out of the city and away from people for a few ways, and this was perfect! The bed is comfortable, the kitchen well outfitted, and the out door spaces (hot tub, porch and fire pit) were very nice. The host provided all the information we needed to have a successful trip.”

“We had a fabulous time here! This was a great location. Not only was it close to historic sites, downtown Harper’s Ferry, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the river (as did our dog!). While this is a back unit to the host's home, they were were hospitable, friendly, made an effort to give us privacy and allowed us full use of all the amenities. We were concerned about privacy, but had no issues and would absolutely recommend this place. It was also a great neighborhood for our dog to walk/run……
