“Stayed here with my partner and our parents. The views were absolutely incredible, couldn’t ask for better. Communication was excellent and check-in and out was super easy. The room layout was a little difficult with three adult couples with two rooms accessible by the one door. Wouldn’t recommend this for those who need their privacy. The place was clean though a few hairs and bits floating about. The listing isn’t lying about the flies - they’ll try to get you! We couldn’t really sit outside……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Cottage, it is so comfortable and has everything we needed for our 3 week stay. It's just a short walk into the main town/waterfront and to walking tracks. The area experienced a power blackout and we were grateful to receive Sera's notification and text explaining where to find torches and candles etc. Planning to be back next year!”

“We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house and spending time cycling rail trails in the area. Everything was extremely clean, beds all comfortable, kitchen stocked with everything you may need. It was very cosy and the views were spectacular with friendly wildlife visiting. Definitely a 5 star property. Thanks for the wonderful memories ”

“If you are looking for a place to unwind after visiting the prom, this is not the place.When we turned up to the property, There was a dead bird next to the front door, cobwebs all throughout the house as we walked through it! A very big huntsman sitting on the window sill , a lot of dead flies all around the kitchen and around the house. A lot of spiders and dead insects in the shower. The door handle to the bathroom was broken. There was only less than 1 toilet roll available. Barely any soap……
