A hotel that would write the name of a country incorrectly, mixing up Taiwan and “Taiwan, a province of China,” which is clearly a mistake made by someone with insufficient knowledge. Does opening a hotel really need to involve unnecessary politicization? It’s a shame that such a beautiful city like Heidelberg is marred by this hotel’s actions.

Der Bahnverkehr vor dem Hotel ist laut. Gut schlafen kann man nur bei geschlossenem Fenster. Dann ist es allerdings viel zu warm. Die Klimaanlage schafft Abhilfe - führt allerdings zu Erkältungen!

A. Self check in did not work. Reception has insufficient staff B. Nobody picks up the phone in the reception C. The air conditioner doesn’t work. I see from previous posts that this has been going on for a while so I’d be very careful staying here during summer. The windows in the rooms open very slightly so it’s hard to cool off the room.

Sehr schönes, fast neues IC-Hotel. Sauber, direkt am Bahnhof mit guter, direkter Verbindung mit dem Bus in die Altstadt. Das einzige, was negativ aufgefallen ist, waren die zu wenigen Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad, das seinerseits aber sonst sehr gut ausgestattet war. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Die Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert, es war nachts unerträglich warm. Die Lüftung im Badezimmer hat nicht richtig funktioniert. Nach 2 Tagen hat es nach unangenehm nach Abfluss gerochen, zum Glück waren wir nicht länger dort. An der Rezeption kennt keiner andere Parkplätze außer die Hauseigenen für 20€ pro Tag. Nicht nochmal!

The hotel is very nice but definitely a business hotel. At check in I was directed to a self service machine despite 2 staff members being available. The rooms are also not serviced unless requested. The room was very hot as the outside temperature was between 10-18 degrees which meant the windows needed to stay open. Being alongside the train station, this meant constant announcements were very loud.

Me encantó que estaba a pasos de la estación central de trenes y de la parada de bus y tranvías. El diseño del hotel es precioso, me hubiera gustado quedarme más tiempo para disfrutarlo más. El desayuno buffet delicioso y la atención de todo el personal muy buena. La habitación fue muy cómoda y silenciosa para descansar. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

the room was super hot. i complained to the reception and tried to get soemone to help. it was so warm i slept very badly, and opening the windows to cool the room down make it too loud to sleep. this was a real problem for me. I tried to control the temperature but this did not work

Check-In sehr unpersönlich und umständlich. Ein etwas früherer Check-In wäre zudem kostenpflichtig gewesen - ein Unding. Sauberkeit der Toilette war leider ein No-Go. Ansonsten modernes Hotel mit moderner Ausstattung und naher Lage zum Bahnhof. Wenn man ein Zimmer nach hinten hat, kann man das Treiben auf den Gleisen beobachten. In der Nacht hört man die Bahnsteigansagen, die wir aber nicht als störend empfunden haben. Abends ab ca. 22 Uhr findet man weit und breit nichts mehr, was offen hat -selbst am Bahnhof hat schon alles zu. Innenstadt braucht man einige Zeit hin, aber das weiß man ja schon bei Buchung.

Die Unterkunft war sehr in Ordnung, lediglich bei unserer Ankunft um 13:30 hätten wir nur gegen einen von € 20,00 in das Zimmer gedurft. Wir beide, beide über 80 Jahre, hätten unser Tagesrucksäckchen mit dem nötigsten Übernachtungsgegenständen gerne etwas erleichtert, damit wir nicht alles den ganzen Tag mittragen müssen. Andere Hotels sind hier schon kulanter und lassen einen schon ins Zimmer, wenn es ohnehin frei ist. Das fanden wir nicht gut.
