The hotel was very convenient to the train station as well as the main part of the city. We walked everywhere.
The hotel itself is well cared for and the breakfast selections were many. Even the gym in the basement (an old vault) was very useful. We didn’t use the sauna.
The hotel room was lovely with a comfortable bed and the bathroom had an amazing, deep soaker tub. But, there was a huge ledge to get in and out of and if you're not overly tall, it was a pain. I had a bruise on my thigh from getting out of it. I had a bath one night but (1) it would take a very long time to fill the tub and (2) I would feel guilty using all that water. So I had a shallow bath but it was hard to get out of the tub as there was no handrail. As well, the bathroom is dim. A lighted makeup mirror would have been great.
Still, I liked this hotel and would return if there are rooms just with a shower and not the deep tub.
