“Great location and interesting layout in this historic house. It was the perfect respite for our stay before our puffin tour the next day and close to town for a concert on the common and restaurants. Note : to access one of the bedrooms you need to go through the bathroom, but it worked out fine. Dmitri was super communicative and was kind enough to let us know we left a pair of shoes there after we departed. “We loved are stay at this beautiful rustic oceanfront home. The large windows along the entire ocean side of the house were a highlight. We view of water, boats, wildlife; sounds of waves on the rocks right outside; and ocean air were at once both invigorating and peaceful. We slept in the loft room and watched the sunrise over the ocean from bed. It was glorious. I love cooking and the kitchen was very well equipped to both cook and serve large meals. “Historic and charming home in a most interesting setting-- the community was a former military fort and barracks. Chat with neighbors on the front porch or watch wildlife and hang out in the backyard picnic tables. Comfortable beds and two full baths makes it good for group of 4-6 people. The golf cart is a godsend but there are bicycles and kayaks for land and water exploration. We didn't make it to the lovely looking pool or rec center for gym/bowling but they look like lots of fun.
