“Property took my money, then advised us not to travel at less than 24hrs notice, leaving me without a place to stay and without refund. Hotels.com did nothing about it. The property are now ignoring hotels.com and therefore no refund will be issued. Utter madness. I have used this website for many stays over many years. I will not be using again”

“We had a fantastic time in Sues converted barn. Sue had arranged a perfect welcome with brownies and a starter package with toast, jam and marmelade, milk and butter. The barn is equipped with all that is needed, and the location provides calm and relaxation. Sue is very supportive and friendly and is always available for recommendations. “SCAM!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Paid for my sons birthday weekend away (4y.o) drove 2.5 hours to get here and the host didnt send us entry code to the apartment so couldnt get in. Expedia confirmed all booking, tried to contact the host but blocking my calle. Texts delivered and left voicemails asking to call us but had no reply. Took our money and put a case with expedia and they refused to refund ao had to contact fraud department with my bank and pay for a hotel late at night instead!! Ruined……

“We booked and paid for 9 rooms at this property through VRBO. One of the team turned up at the property to find that there were no rooms - this property has not hired out rooms since October 2022. Still trying to get a refund through VRBO. Avoid at all costs!”

“The property is in a good location easy to walk into town of Beverly lots of places to eat . Fifty pubs sorry I couldn’t try them all. Parking is available at this property but it’s very tight but also safe.”

“A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. ”

“We were three families from three different cities that drove to the caravan site, and upon arrival, you said, "Sorry, our website had issues, and we can't do anything for you now. We can only refund your money." Not only have you caused us financial losses equivalent to the cost of three tanks of gas, but you've also ruined our weekend plans. I'm genuinely disappointed in the management of this website. All I can say is, you are highly irresponsible. It's unclear whether you'll refund my money……
