“Stayed here as a quiet base to walk the 3 Peaks. Very peaceful and not too far away. The only negatives for us would be that there were no teabags/coffee, sugar, salt & pepper. We have stayed in many cottages and this has been the only place where there has been nothing at all.”

“We had a fabulous long weekend at The Vestry celebrating my dad's 80th. The house was an excellent size to accommodate all the family (10 of us), with the living area being a great size for our celebrations, and relaxing. The hot tub was a welcome addition and was well used throughout. The kitchen was well equipped for all of our cooking needs whilst there. There are a lot of stairs to get to all of the various bedrooms, not a problem for most, but my parents had to use the first floor bedroom.……

“Had a lovely stay at the cottage that felt very much like home. Absolutely beautiful views from the garden. Just wish there had been a bar b q. It is clean, well equipped and in a really handy location with the train station close by and a nice couple of wee pubs up the road. the house itself has a modern kitchen and main bathroom as well as another bathroom on the top ( 3rd Floor ). Bedrooms have good space and are clean and well maintained. It is an older terraced property over three floors and with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor, it might not suit those with mobility issues,……

“The house is nothing special but the bed was comfortable to sleep in and it was in the location we needed to visit family. The kitchen smelled like something was rotting, I think the bins hadn't been disposed of properly before we arrived. There also weren't any towels even though the advert says there will be. It's an okay place to stay as long as you're not expecting luxury.”
