“Got a nice third floor room which was spacious and clean. Nice balcony allowed us to sit and the clouds roll in. Gentleman at front desk dhring check in took care of business nicely and in quick order. Very nice stay.”

“We loved staying at the Hersie House. The home is extremely well equipped with all the essentials and a few nice extras that we didn’t expect, such as coffee and creamer and spices in the kitchen. The decor was charming. We enjoyed looking at the pictures of the renovation and reading about the history of the place. The heated bathroom floor was a touch of heaven! We will be back!!”

“My husband & I stayed at this lovely cabin for 10 days and absolutely loved every minute of our vacation. The house was very clean and comfy. The best sleep we've had in a long time! The view is absolutely stunning! Just relax on the porch and gaze at the beautiful mountains. Our host Lisa was so wonderful in answering our questions and responded quickly. A must for dinner is Rib Country for BBQ....worth the drive to Murphy NC. We had a wonderful time and are so happy we chose this home. ”

“The property is in an excellent location and the indoor pool was awesome but the home could use some updates in the bathrooms, floors were not really clean and the cookware was in very bad shape. Other than that we enjoyed our stay! ”
