Lake life

My husband and I enjoyed a private getaway for 4 days at Devil's Fork. The easy access to our boat was amazing. The cabin was very clean and had everything I needed. It was quiet and restful. We will stay there again!

Highly recommend

The cabin was immaculate when we arrived, perfect vacation spot. We enjoyed having the dock so close and just a short walk down to go swimming. All the other guests at the resort were friendly also. Great place to stay, we will definitely book again.

100% 5 stars! We checked in on Wednesday afternoon and left Sunday morning. The cabin was clean and just what we needed. The boat slips were an awesome bonus! Thank you for a great getaway spot! We will be back again.

Perfect place to relax

Absolutely love this location, the cabin was exquisite, above and beyond what we expected, the lake and docks were literally yards from the cabin. The only issue we had was the beds but it's seriously hard for me to find comfort in any bed, I have a complete lumbar fusion. Overall I would highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back...

Great Lake property

We have stayed at this property before and this visit did not disappoint. Always a great time. The property is a short walk to the provided boat dock and has enough room to keep the whole family comfortable. We always enjoy our stay and will be back soon.

Perfect Get Away Cabin

The listing is exactly as described. We stayed Wednesday - Monday. I had to work on Thursday and Friday and the internet worked just fine for me. We brought our boat and the dock is just a quick minute or two walk from the cabin. The cabin was well stocked with dishes, glasses, and pots and pans. The deck was perfect for morning coffee and dinner after a day on the lake. I highly recommend this cabin. We will definitely be back.

Perfect place perfect price

We loved the cabin unit, very clean and comfortable. The boat dock use was exactly what we need for our pontoon. It was a pretty location and you can’t beat the price for a place to sleep and boat slip. We will definitely return!

McKinney Family Vacation

Our cabin was very nice and plenty of room for our family of 5. We weren't used to sleeping on a soft mattress like the mattresses in the cabin. As we both have back trouble we left a day early because of our backs hurting us. I would recommend Devil Fork's Resort to family and friends to stay at. I would have to let them know that the mattresses are soft though. Overall we had a good time with our grandkids.

Misrepresentation on VRBO

VRBO makes the pictures look like the doc and the water are in the back of the cabin. We expected to be on the water, which is what our mini-vacation was all about. VRBO misrepresents what you are actually renting. Not good! I would much rather deal wth the owners. They were very nice.

Great week with some Great Lake time. Quiet, comfortable and very relaxing week in the unit and close enough to the lake for evening boat ride, with a boat slip this place is a must.

Adequate

We came up here with 4 adults, two dogs and a baby, the space fit us all. Comfort was adequate. The mattresses needed to be replaced. When sharing a bed you both end up piled in the middle because they are so worn. They put mattress toppers on to try and help but it was still not great.. other aspect of comfort was the single wall ac for the whole unit. During the day it was good, but when people went to their rooms and closed doors it got hot. The kitchen was nicely stocked with pots and utensils. But for pantry items, only had salt and pepper. The toaster barely worked, it should be replaced. No reflection in our unit but more the proximity to the neighbors, but our neighbors smoked on their deck which is shared essentially. So there was a strong smell when they spent time out there.

Convenient location

The cabin was pretty basic but it was nice to be close to the water. Pretty convenient location. Some things are a little outdated in the cabin. The beds weren’t very comfortable, but we managed for a short weekend stay. From the pictures, we thought the dock was in the backyard. However, it was just a short walk to get there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Cabin

All went well. The boat slip was a major help if you bring your own boat and fairly short walk to get to. Was able to park my truck and trailer close to the cabin without worry. The stay was quiet and relaxing. Cell service even with WiFi was intermittent. The beds could use an upgrade. Not as comfy as I like. Overall we were pleased and would come again.
