“Very welcoming and cozy ”

“Overall the experience was somewhere between just ok and good. Most of my expectations were met, but not all. First impressions are what they are. The place looked kinda like someone had just left it and didnt get a chance to double check that all the dishes were washed, even though the clean dishes on the drying rack were wet. Between that and the fact that someone used a key to unlock the door and came in, without knocking, on my first morning there and the vibe had been soured. The host……

“I was visiting family and was only a mile a way. Actually I could and did walk to them. Place was great, very nice. No issuesIf I go back I will stay again if available.Hate to recommend it cause I want it to be open when I go back but it just was perfect. Thanks all”

“Overall a positive experience. Property was clean and worked out really well for us as location was close to family we were visiting. We are from Florida, and it was cold in CT and the heat worked great so that was really good. Andrew was responsive to requests. Only criticism was in some of the set up. There are no dressers, so you need to stack your clothes on shelves in closet, which was not terrible. Also, the only mirror in the entire place was in the bathroom downstairs (bedrooms……

“My sister and I came to New Haven for the Cherry blossom Festival. I was presenting as I'm a wildlife educator specializing in birds of prey. My sister came from Florida.The festival was cancelled due to weather. But we still had an amazing time! Because of our adorable Flat smack dab in the middle of everything. We explored New Haven. What a beautiful magical place. Great place to stay. Thank you Jarrett ”

“Unit was clean and comfortable. In a safe area, easy access to Yale/within walking distance. The unit comes with a private parking spot, very easy to navigate in and out. Love that the unit has lots of windows for natural lighting and fresh air! Marc is a very gracious host. My son is ending his Junior year at Yale, and I wish I would have known about this VRBO from the time he was a freshman! We would have skipped the hotels and only stayed here on all our visits! ”

“This apartment in a 4 unit building with its own parking lot was on a quiet street. Easy to get to no matter what side of the city I came from and close enough to walk to downtown (6 blocks) and half a block off the famous Little Italy street for food and cocktails and then brunch and coffee in walking distance in the mornings too. The unit had everything you need, fully stocked kitchen and bath, shared laundry. Great mattress and pillows! Easy keypad entry. I’d stay there over and over again!”

“The blankets were little and there wasn't an extra blanket to put on the bed I had to use a mattress pad as a blanket I didn't realize it was a basement The couch was uncomfortable The host was very accommodating when my flight was canceled and I had to change my stay over one day ”

“We stayed for two nights while visiting friends. Having lived in the area for many years, this was a perfect way to return and visit all our favorite places. Location is perfect. Easy to walk to shops and coffee shops, easy street parking. Be aware that this is an apartment and so you will hear the neighbors. This didn’t bother us at all, but this is not a quiet area so just be aware of that before! Overall excellent place and we would certainly return!”
