BEAUTIFUL LAKE FRONT NEWLY RENOVATED COTTAGE 2021

Newly renovated Higgins Lake 3 bedroom 1 bath cottage. Sleeps 6 with queen, full and twin bedrooms. All with ceiling fans. Queen room is lakeside with a window a/c unit. Livingroom also has a window a/c unit. New inside from walls to floors. New furniture in living room, dining table and chairs for 6. New kitchen from cupboards to appliances and flooring. Outside offers a spacious partially covered concrete patio. A new gas fire dining table for dining and enjoying an evening fire with family and friends. A new grill is also available for your favorite grilled meals. Large lakeside and roadside yards for outdoor activities. A great lightly traveled road for biking and walking or running. Ample parking for the cottage guests. A new dock for access to the water. A mooring anchor is available for renters PWC or boat.
PLEASE NOTE: Owners boats are housed at the dock and the property owners may use their boats during your stay. They will be mindful of your time and space during your stay. If this poses a problem we ask that you reserve another property.

Clean & Updated Rental in Perfect Location

We loved our stay at this property. Being right on the lake was amazing and the large dock was so much fun! We all loved trying our hand at the paddle boards! The house was well kept and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the games & puzzles. Quiet & cute neighborhood in good location in the area. Really thankful for this stay!

Great place, great hosts!

The house was amazing, the water was gorgeous and Kathy and Chris were so great! We could not be happier with the house and have already been planning our return next year! We had grandparents up to visit and they loved the patio table to have dinner. The kids loved the smart tv and mom and dad loved the sandy water for swimming with the kids! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Rental on a Gorgeous Lake

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Higgins Lake and the lovely home. It was my family of 4, including 2 adult children, and a friend of my daughter. It is a smaller home but we found we had plenty of room. Never did it feel too small. It was very peaceful with many things to do. My daughter and her friend enjoyed using the paddle boards and we liked the beach. My husband and son fished most days. I enjoyed the peace of reading my book in one of the Adirondack chairs on the small patio area near the lake. We enjoyed and afternoon dinner on their fabulous fire dining table and now I want one! Kathy was easy to communicate with before and during our stay. I asked about checkout instructions such as gathering the bedding and towels and sweeping and she said she’d take care of that. That extra service was much appreciated for a vacation. Kathy provided paper towel and toilet paper but we ended up using our own toilet paper. Overall this was a much needed vacation and we all enjoyed it! I don’t think the pics do it justice. Very nice home and location!

Perfect for the 4th!

Kathy’s cozy lakeside cabin was the perfect place to spend a week with family and celebrate the 4th of July! Gorgeous view, immaculate accommodations, and super fun paddle boards, water tubes, and lawn games. Thank you for great memories, we look forward to returning next year!

Great place on the water

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Great sunrise views, clean, kitchen well-stocked. Some outdoor water toys to use and super outdoor area to eat. Great to relax and enjoy the water.

Peaceful retreat

The property is perfectly situated in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Great for swimming, sunsets, and close to restaurants. Hosts were accommodating and friendly. House has been renovated to easily accommodate 6 guests. The two of us really enjoyed our relaxing stay.

Family reunion at Higgins

Overall is was very nice. Location was great, kitchen well stocked but only one outside game when listing suggested there were more. Would have brought our own if we would of known. No fire pit due to noise ordinance and neighbors complaining but knew that going in. Price was high for 6 person rental. Would stay again if cheaper. Close to family living there.

Great property and awesome view of lake!

This property was very comfortable and clean. The house was furnished nicely and had everything we needed. We enjoyed all the extras that the host provided including the nicely stocked kitchen items, some outdoor games and stand up boards, gas grill and a cute coffee bar. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. This was a beautiful location on the lake and a convenient place to use our boat. The host was quick with responding to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Best Location On The Lake

We had a great time!!! The house was clean, newly renovated, and comfortable. Enjoyed the panoramic views from every window!! It was so quiet and peaceful to relax. I would recommend this place to friends and family. Enjoyed using the paddle boards every morning, and the owners and neighbors were very friendly and kind. Hands down, by far, the best cottage I’ve rented on Higgins Lake!!!

Beautiful views for family trip

This was a great property for our family trip to Higgins. Quiet street, polite neighbors , unbeatable waterfront views! This property had everything we needed (water toys, chairs, floats, games inside for kids). The house was very clean and felt right at home. Perfect for our family. Would definitely rent again!

We enjoyed our stay. The location of the house is perfect. There is a noise ordinance that is strictly enforced. 10pm during the week and 11pm on the weekends. The neighbor next door will enforce this if you are outside talking. She doesn’t like any noise what so ever past 11pm The owners are easy to work with and do frequent the property. Overall we enjoyed our stay, just keep in mind if you are wanting to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine near the lake past 11pm, it is prohibited by the next door neighbor. I would have liked to read this in one of the prior reviews before renting. I feel it is necessary to know given the amount of money it cost to stay for the week.

Beautiful sunrises

We loved our stay at Higgins Lake. The cottage meet all our needs. The kitchen had all the items you need. The view of the lake was excellent as well. The owners were easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Updated rental property

Clean, updated rental property with rare amenities for a house on the lake (dishwasher, actual lawn, and garbage disposal are a huge plus and oddly enough, rare). Great for our family of 5. We love the west side of the lake because it’s not as windy, a lot calmer for the kids. My only con are the rocks in the water, we aren’t used to that but no fault of the owners and maybe I missed them but no beach towels either so make sure to bring your own! Great home overall and had everything we needed!
